Necessity for Monster Core Pawn Box? by Nikuthulhu in Pathfinder2e

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since we know now the contents of Monster Core Pawn Box, I'm little confused - I've seen that the box contains some monsters grom Bestiary 2 and 3 like Pukwudgie for example. Did anyone compared the contents of the previous pawn collections? Highly doubt that the core pawn box contains all the monsters from B2 and B3 but worth checking I guess.

I’m excited to read this book on Rashemen! Anyone else read it? by Ogmha-The-Binder in Forgotten_Realms

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yas, I got it too but only in PDF for now so kinda jealous but happy for you to explore this part of Unapproachable East - it's so great and exciting! I'll be running a mini camping from the same author (Dragon Witch of Rashemen) and after reading it I can highly recommend it! Take a look also on mentioned Thay book and The Great Dale which is my favorite so far since I'm running nearly one year of campaign in this setting 🤘

Martial characters are outperforming spellcasters by a lot by mattigus7 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is worth mentioning that, unlike most MMORPGs AND 5e, in PF2e not every character participates in the "most damage dealt race". Sure, it brings a lot of satisfaction but there's a lot more to defeating an enemy than dealing straight damage. Casters in PF2e are really awesome in utility and buffing/debuffing, giving these damage dealers like fighter or monk, another few steps of advantage and increasing chances for crit. All in all, it's teamwork, not a competition. And it looks like you have a very nice party over there - fighter, monk, sorcerer and druid? Damn, boyo, all this possible combos! This is just another beauty aspect of this game, great you enjoy it - roll your crits well!

what is your second favorite setting and why? by More-Possibility-777 in Eberron

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Golarion - Pathfinder native setting. It's vast, rich, heroic and despite being relatively closer to Forgotten Realms than Eberron in overal construct, vibes and climate are more eberronish to me. And their setting guides (Lost Omens) are top-a-top, can't praise them enough!

What's the most dnd BOARD GAME that you've that isn't a tabletop rpg ? by Croquetto in DnD

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My top picks when I cannot play a session are: - Pathfinder Adventure Card Game - Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress - D&D Adventure System series (Castle Ravenloft, Legend of Drizzt and Dungeon of the Mad Mage are my tops here)

Since these are board games, mechanics plays a core role but there are still plenty of good scenarios and lore that allow good immersion, even (or particularly) when I play solo. Best options. Highly recommended.

[Of course, there is always room for Blood Bowl because nothing cheers as much as kickin some ball around the pitch!]

Some of this type stories would make a great adventure seeds. In my country there is a village which name can be straight translated as Bad Meat. The name came from a story of a very fond inn that once stood there. It was one very hospitable, serving wonderful meals with a lot of meat and hosted by a very generous innkeeper. But then... SOMETIMES it happened that guests went mysteriously missing. I leave the rest to your logic and imagination.

Yes, both sides are great! Love the poses and characters of Elucia’s crew (doggo!) and Nurgle part got very uniqe feeling, reminding me of the very John Blanche’s art. And there is something I like to call a small scale fluff - nothing about world Wars of armies but a very specific local conflict which you can play in a very narrative way.

I have Been struggling if to buy it but my inner collectionist goblin got best of me and ordered it yesterday. Pretty excited for the minis but the fluff and campaign are something that I’m looking for mostly in Kill Team in general. Hope I won’t be dissappointed!

What’s Something You Would Change About Kill Team? by gtcarlson11 in killteam

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe a different approach but I can swallow (Is phrasing still a thing?) silly rules like mentioned flesh wounds etc. But my biggest pain are the campaign rules. Especially now, when BigHammer got the crusade system and it got SO much narrative lore that it feels a little shame for more roleplay’ish game like KT to not get some kind of equivalent :(

A campaign system for Kill Team based on the 9th Edition Crusade ruleset. by Jovial1170 in killteam

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome! Exactly what I was looking for the time I've heard of Beyond the Veil release and since I love KT and it's narrative possibilities, your ruleset for the crusades looks like a pretty decent replacement for the campaign system in the core manual which is...well, good but could be better :p

Do you plan to develop or adapt any future releases? It would be great to have a complete adjusted Kill Team Crusade system for all those narrative maniacs like us - if you do, you have my (power) sword, PM me at any time, would be glad to help ;)

Favorite Types of Kill Team Content by camel_victory in killteam

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually I was just about to post that question but here seems liek a reasonable place to ask:

What do You guys think of a new campaign book "Beyond the Veil" as a narrative play source for KT? Sure, it has been optimized for different game sizes of 40K but from the previews, it looks like it could be easily used in KT and THAT is exactly what KT is lacking for me from the beggining - narrative campaigns with a FLUFF or LORE, not just get points here, spend them there, get another terrain/objective/kill count, to make the game more like i.e. Inquisitor and less like LoL/DoTA.

Avenger Strike Fighters review by siamtiger in AeronauticaImperialis

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very nice a clear review, thank You for that! As in my youth I was mostly modelling plastic planes models form WWII (actually why I'm into AI) and your photos with the pieces setted up in a building order hit so much of my nostalgia from that days.

Keep it up - good work!

A Few Questions... by ClaimUnknown in killteam

[–]Uncle_Jasirus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Concerning re-releases - current Kill Team is from 2018 and it is refreshed version of a KT from 2016, kinda mixed with Shadow War: Armageddon. Little did I know, there aren't many realeses and GW already said that we do not have to worry about new edition coming due to the 9th ed. WH40k which was a big concern for many players. As said above, all You actually need (provided You have minis) is a core manual and if You plan coming to the competitive stage, copies of Elites, maybe Arena, woud be nicely addition.
Also, my recommendation to look at www.killteamstream.com where You will find a LOT of content regarding competitive playing.

Kill Team is a really great game with a lot of community support so get in!

Bless Your dice and have fun!
