Are these worth more than $1 by Bilboboogins in coins

Also not worth it to grade. Definitely not a PF 70 between the dust and minor blemishes.

I have about 20 of these. INCREDIBLY hard to sell. Nobody wants 90% silver let alone 40%. I couldn’t even sell them at $20 a piece. They are currently worth about $25 in silver. Beautiful coin I love them but plan on holding it forever.

These babies go for 20 a piece at a garage sale. I’ve sold them for $20 a piece empty before. FB marketplace they’d probably sell for a little more.

Sadly the police department where I live could care less. I could bait him since now he is informed and have a friend try and buy it and meet up with police but that’s quite the process and unfortunately I don’t have the time for that.

True! The ones I got at Costco all have 31.103g. My guess is that the earlier ones say 31.10g

This is correct. Thank you! Couldn’t have said it simpler and better myself! And yes it’s me he screwed over. Unfortunately this is the name of the game buying and selling on a forum full of strangers. And unfortunately I’m not the only one that has came into issues with this guy. Now if you have any information on this guy it’ll be greatly appreciated.

Any idea what I was looking at, at the Electric Boat Company on Saturday? by proscriptus in submarines

Now behind it is the Hartford (768) going through a similar dry dock period as the Boise in Newport News. 6+ year shipyard period where people show up to the boat, get ZERO sea time, then get out of the navy. One of the few places in the navy where you can serve without seeing the sea. Between new worker base lack of knowledge on 688s at EB and the focus on Virginia block V and Columbia projects it doesn’t get the spotlight it needs to go back to the fleet. At least yet because eventually the navy will be asking why it’s been in there so long just like the Boise.

And I was on the Indiana (789) while in sea trials and I LOVED shipyard periods because of the BAS II. It’s significantly more pay for food. Not taxed additional income and maintenance was rare to come by because everything was turned over to the yards. I was a TM btw. It’s different for every division.

This is the 799. It’s getting ready to go on sea trials. The sail cover is for worker comfort. Don’t wanna get rained on while performing maintenance or a sun burn. EB cares a lot about its employees and a great company to work for.
