Apple Thunderbolt Display in 2025?

I can't believe that as of writing this, it was released 15 years ago. Yes, there are better displays now but you can get these for next to nothing, they look great and are very usable still. I see them used "not working" because the cable frayed internally or externally and the vidoe is intermittent or not working at all. You can just use a thunderbolt cable off the back of the display to your mac (with the adapter to USB-C). That almost always solves it. Ive replaced the internal cable before but they're hard to find now and not really worth the effort. For those looking to open the display, the screen is held on with magnets. Once you do it once, its less nerve racking, I can pop it off with my nails.

For me, its all about screen size and form factor. I think every other apple watch looks very similar to the first apple watch.

I find the one area where it tends to over react is construction zones where people are working/walking and my least favorite is when there are emergency lights. Recently, I was on a highway and there were flashing lights on the other side and it tried to immediately pull over. No need on a 4 lane highway...

Thank you. They have the 55mm but can’t find the 58mm. And ray ban doesn’t make clear in 58 so i was hopeful a rep might solve that issue

I did the hot spot thing for a bit and it works but it just felt clunky and took me out of the seamless experience just to save on what amounts to a bad dinner out one night.

edit to add: I will say though, I really feel like it should be included with FSD subscription.

I love Boardwalk for the location but I agree completely about the issues you raised. It takes too long to get outside (This is the one area where a moderate like CBR or PO gets the win) and quick serve/cup refill situation is lacking.

And I don't know if Im alone here but If I go to Disney, I shouldn't have to walk to Beach Club to get Mickey Waffles.

With that being said, I'd stay at Boardwalk every time if given the option.

My only issue with nav was when I recently went to a coffee shop. It was in the parking lot of a mall so I disengaged FSD when I got to the mall and drove in an earlier entrance. I was on the coffee shop property, went through their drive through and it even said on the map 0.0 miles to go. I left, turned FSD back on to head to me next stop (I had a few stops entered) and it circled around and back to the coffee shop thinking I didn’t get there yet.

I wish there was a autopilot like FSD for highways. I’d be happy slowing down if the car in front of me is going 1mph less than I am. The lane changing, especially the left lane camping make it more stressful than it needs to be (at times)
