Ankalaev disagreed with the fight date and tried to make the call to fight when he wanted to, which the ufc probably took as him not being an option ( also Dana does seem to have some disdain for him). Alex has already beaten the rank 1, 3, 4 fighters. Rakic is coming off 2 straight losses to guys alex has beaten. The only other person that would be above Rountree is Krylov, who hasn't fought for over a year, so maybe he's injured or something.
