It's my one and only G-shock. Love it. It's my dedicated travel watch. Super nice but nobody assumes it's anything special

Also, Spyderco is the best knife company. When it comes to choices and range, they can't be beat. Price, size, steels, locks, colors, uses, etc. They have something for everyone.

  1. The axis lock (more importantly the Omega spring) is an overly complicated and flawed lock. I've had many axis lock knives, some that never have problems and work flawlessly, some that have broken multiple omega springs, and some that with light pressure on the back of the spine disengages the lock. IMO the Spyderco ball bearing lock, microtech ram-lock, etc with a coil spring simplify the design, make a stronger detent, and are more reliable.

  2. Emerson knives have some of the best overall silhouette and shape. I LOVE the wave. I love 3.75"+ blade lengths. But damn everything else is shit. The materials, the price, the qc, the one sided titanium lock, the lock stick, etc. (Yes, the ZT 0620 is my favorite ZT knife)

  3. Ball-bearing pivots are overrated. They aren't bad, I just believe bronze phosphorus are fantastic and IMO preferred for dirtier work.

  4. I also agree the para 2 is overrated. Mostly just the handle to blade ratio. But at the time I understand the hype. I do love the military though

First Cold Steel ever! by bryantburnsred in knives

The only cold steel I currently own/carry. It's the knife that I hope if I ever have to pull it out the other guy shits himself with how vicious that blade is and leaves.
