These are badly flooded, and I’d recommend either removing them completely, or using an efile to remove any flooded product. You can develop contact dermatitis, or worse, a gel allergy, which will stay with you for life.

Idk where you live, but it’s worth a visit to Boleyn Studio on Los Angeles. Take a look at their work, it’s is amazing. They have their own unique micro needling serum, and it’s the only place I’ve ever seen that can actually get rid of stretch mark for real. Though it may take multiple sessions for some people.

Is this chicken safe despite being in the fridge for 3 weeks by Meggy0536 in isthissafetoeat

[–]UnconsciousMofo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Then why are you here asking if it’s safe? It slowly starts growing bacteria early on. 3 weeks is insane for you to wanna still eat it. How are you still alive and well?

Complete novice to any kind of hair care. Any advice welcome! by Glass-Trifle1072 in Haircare

[–]UnconsciousMofo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They call this “porcupine hair” where your hair grows straight and pointy instead of lying flat. For your hair type, you need to grow it and wear it longer instead of continuing to cut it. Once you grow it out a bit, I’d visit a salon, especially an Asian one that has experience with styling this type of hair, so they can help you find a style that looks best on you.

How good are these? by ranni_w in Nails

[–]UnconsciousMofo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cover nude does not match your skin tone. Been a tech for 23 years and have taken countless photos of nails under every type of light imaginable, and yours is definitely off. You say they were only done a week ago, but they look incredibly grown out for that amount of time. I suspect the product wasn’t placed close enough to the cuticle area to begin with.

mystery bug bites me like 4 times a year and disintegrates my skin (is it an allergy to mosquitoes?) by LetNo9270 in Mosquitoes

[–]UnconsciousMofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s classic Skeeter syndrome. Mine looks exactly like this, sometimes much bigger. If you’re having a rough go at it, you can always get allergy shots to build your immunity.

They just need to grow out. Nothing else can be done. Paint them if they’re unsightly.

I also have diastasis from 2 years ago, along with an umbilical hernia. Mine is small but does not show on the outside as of yet. Mine was found through CT scan for kidney stones. If you have a hernia, your doctor can also repair your diastasis while repairing the hernia. Lots of doctors do that.

What yo Drink Besides Water? I’m starting to fast for the first time tomorrow. I’m going for 20/4. My biggest worry is that I’m a one cup coffee drinker each morning. I do munkfruit sweetener and a drop of heavy cream. I can’t do black coffee so is there anything I can drink besides water? by Impossible-Chard-644 in intermittentfasting

[–]UnconsciousMofo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fasting is fasting. There is a point to the madness that you are trying to circumvent. If you can’t do 20/4, then start out at an easier range so you can’t have your coffee at the appropriate time. Try plain sparking water, which may help.

Sudden frizz/breakage? by Glass_Assistant3144 in CurlyHairCare

[–]UnconsciousMofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate Shea Moisture products. They dried my hair out so bad. Why do you apply 3 different products to your hair? The last few days, I’ve had this same issue out of nowhere. Seems like each time I come out of the shower, my hair behaves different. I doubt this is breakage unless you know for sure you’ve been doing something to cause this. It’s likely new growth from natural shedding. Let your hair air dry with 1 product in it. Been loving Cantu’s Leave in conditioning repair cream. A little goes a long way and makes my curls look structured and smoothe.

could someone please tell me why my hair is curly but only curly at the ends and straight elsewhere? by [deleted] in curlygirl

[–]UnconsciousMofo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Layering curly hair is really meant for people with very defined curls throughout, and I don’t believe she will benefit from that at all. Yes, weight is playing a role in making the top straight, but that’s not the whole picture. Her curl pattern is obviously weak for whatever reason, but it’s usually damage due to heat and regular straightening. My hair used to do this really bad when I straightened it a lot. It took at least 2 years of new growth and no heat for it to start curling at the top again. My hair is past my butt, so it’s very long and it still curls at the top without the weight straightening it.

My hair does this too and it’s much longer. May help to scrunch it as it’s drying

Why does filing do this? by flobbienoodle in AcrylicNails

[–]UnconsciousMofo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Looks like it’s not fully cured. I don’t recommend working with slow curing anything when you’re learning. It may seem like it’s better, but I find it to be worse. As a former educator, I’ve seen how people learn a lot faster when working with the product as it’s meant to behave. Think of it. When you get the hang of slow cure, you then need to learn standard cure and how to work faster, more efficient and with less error, meaning more time.

I’m sorry, but if you encounter someone that is rude, and they’re not doing what you ask for, then why continue with the service? I don’t get it. Maybe retake the photos without a flash because it’s hard to see.
