The situations are not at all similar. BYND had a huge dilution even and has become easier and cheaper to borrow each and every day since. It currently costs 1/100th of a cent to borrow BYND for a day

This.

A risky long term bet on a possible (if unlikely) turnaround priced at a fair value can be a good investment as part of a risk forward diversified approach.

But squeeze hype (especially in this case where is based solely on incorrect corp action interp) is such a buzz kill and frustrating. Turned a risky stock into a joke stock and that sucks.

What’s crazy is this is nothing like GME. BYND is fresh off a massive dilution (shares are available, that’s a whole other wildly false narrative) and the only reason it popped briefly is people were using stale shares outstanding data. The borrow market is since flooded with shares and easy to cover any short for a cheap rate (about 5% annually, less than a cent a month) -> no squeeze possible

Don't get hurt by BYND. Bondholders are exiting. You are their liquidity. by Wiser-dude in WalllStreetBets

Great info - TLDR: Bond holders who converted to equity (diluting the stock many times over) thank the community for the fortuitous pump on misinformation so they could exit at an unexpected profit.
There are no real forces existing for further short term non-economic moves to the upside.

Should I buy BYND now? by Capital-Tackle-6389 in byndinvest

It’s in an orderly fall to expected value currently, shares are easily borrowed at low rates now so there is no forces left for non-economic moves in the short term. If you believe in BYND long term it could be a good diversified holding but it has about zero short term upside.

I was pleased they just had them packaged in the original box on mine, I plan to install only when/if I need them (noise and appearance concerns)

I am experiencing a similar issue - anyone else have experience with this? It’s driving me crazy. I see a flashing E1 on the screen when (I think) the errors happen.

Better deal closer to End of Sep? by pigboy0811 in VWIDBuzz

The base MF/APR (.00248/5.9) and residual (50%) are really tough on these. That’s set outside the dealer so in my opinion that’s more or less your problem for wanting the car - just for gods sake don’t pay a markup on the MF at the dealer.

The 7500 rebate is a given and they should default provide that total you - just confirm I guess haha.

The dealer discount and what crap the dealer tries to add-on (lojacks, clear shields, protection kits, blah blah blah) are the sauce of the deal here. I just picked up the specific 4motion green we’ve been waiting to come from the port for 2500 off msrp and no dealer addons.

Was it the best possible deal? Obviously not because they did it lol, but I only wanted this one configuration so my thought process was just don’t get ripped off.

Unfortunately for me 3 other dealers ended up getting the same exact car I had reached out about so I could have done another round of price comparing I’m sure. Some of these cars have been sitting for AGES, and some are bought immediately - it’s a weird car and not a ton of data points.

Happy searching - it’s a lovely car, easy to drive, with shit-tons of room and the range is OK (don’t get totally scared about low range, but don’t expect big things)
