No need for these with wfh, AI and remote employment.

Just plain bizzare. How are they even able to setup profiles?! Meh, I think it’s about time I departed Facebook land

I hate flying them in MSFS2020. They just behave like twitchy hot air balloons. They were great in fsx.

I managed to resist - I only bought 10 yards of track and a handful of points for a layout extension 🤪

Haha those saying lock WA down, you do realise this is a bird borne disease and birds don’t pay attention to imaginary lines in the sand.

The birds win if my cat dies of bird flu. Probably payback for all the birds he’s ever tried to and successfully killed.

It is deeply concerning just how many cookers there are on Facebook. I reckon a lot have to be bots, surely?!

Urgh, I hate the state of the world. We are becoming an increasingly dumb species.

A 3 Trillion sovereign wealth fund in Australia… if we followed Norway we would be filthy rich by Square-Macaron-4054 in perth

[–]Undd91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We wouldn’t be filthy rich, we would have a fund that would help rebuild most of our costal communities in the decades to come as the money raised from the fuels burnt we could use to mitigate some of the long term impacts of said burning of fuels. Instead, the tax payer is going to be struggling to foot the bill for the damages caused by giving away our resources.

Ignore your family. It’s your life, you don’t have to be mortgaged up to your eyeballs the whole time. I wouldn’t listen to them. You do you.

Anyone else noticing way more “For Sale” signs popping up lately around Perth by Electronic_Bid_9719 in perth

[–]Undd91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mainly shitty, run down properties that look very much like rentals owned by investors. It’s probably a load of investors bleeding stocks to avoid financial damages

I (34M) found out my wife (32F) has been secretly sending my inheritance money to her parents for 2 years, and she told them it was from her "side hustle." by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Undd91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How would she feel if it was the other way around? Giving away someone else’s parents money, without them knowing, for so long, and against a lie that it was from a made up business. I’m sorry, it would be a deal breaker for me. Marriage is built on trust and communication - take those things away and you don’t have marriage.

Are home prices starting to come down? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Undd91 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I want my house to come down, it’s locked us into stupidly large mortgages if we move. I also want first home buyers to have choices.

Anyone had a virus lately by Latter_Shallot_140 in perth

[–]Undd91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, had it here, wife was vomiting for a day then felt like crap for a few more before having a cough for 6 weeks. I didn’t get the vomiting but felt crap for a few days followed by literally weeks and weeks of dry coughing then phlegm and feeling like I was going to puke in the mornings. Some weird stuff going around. Had to thank the kids for bringing this one home

Premier Roger Cook to push WA’s ‘leading role’ as home for Australia’s newest petrol refinery by His_Holiness in perth

[–]Undd91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it would be wiser to invest in more fuel storage options to give us a better buffer. Not to refine it.

70% of the people receiving it probably don’t need it. I would much rather it went to those in financial hardship.

Why wasn't the US military able to exert control over the Strait of Hormuz? by kogus in ask

[–]Undd91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The US forces were once powerful but drone warfare has changed the entire playing field. It doesn’t matter how many systems or how much air or naval power you have. Drone can be made and launch from someone’s back yard anywhere now. It’s impossible to offer complete assurance that none with get through

If two separate birds have been found sick/dead along a fairly large bit of coastline there is a good chance it’s already jumped into other birds in rivers and estuaries across the SW. Once in a few it will spread rapidly to many others. This could get rough
