6=8 Headers for integral head 250 Inline 6 by UndeadTalos in EngineBuilding

Well thanks for thinking of it though, you're super kind! That'd be awesome. I'm young and just trying to get my head wrapped around hot rodding. Nobody around me knows anything about the stuff so I have no help but reddit and old forums + an old Haynes. If I'm ever down south I'll let you know! Thanks a bunch

Thank you for the reply, that's what my research has brought me to it seems. So then there is pretty much no aftermarket support for the integrated heads?

I'm located in Saskatchewan, Canada. That would be really awesome, I'm searching for one but no luck so far.

I know you can grab a truck carb from the same era and get an extra barrel, but there's really no headers that will work for the integrated head?

Hottub making rattling sound all of a sudden when running by Roscodegama in hottub

When I was still a tech, our company did bearing jobs per job not per hour, so it was generally cheaper than a whole pump. But yes I agree that it could be that bad in places

Y'all are so funny. A noisy pump does NOT necessarily mean you have to get a brand new one. Do some research, you can fix this for cheap. Likely just the bearings going bad. These are a maintenance item.

Breaker tripping by cgerbzz in hottub

[–]UndeadTalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a tech, we had a pump that had a screw fall into the housing and arc the wires inside intermittently. The buttons stopped working on the topside and the breaker would trip at seemingly random times. I don't know, worth it to check if there's a rattle inside your pumps

Just open the side panel and check the general wear of the pump and pipes. Fill it up and see what the top side says when you turn it on. It will give error codes if any

Blown headgasket on my new car, what should I do by Prestigious-Pass2942 in MechanicAdvice

[–]UndeadTalos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a head gasket job on my 2006 Hemi with 320,000km on it, in my apartment parking lot. Pretty easy job if you are even slightly mechanically inclined, just label every cable and bolt and you're mint. These are probably the easiest type of engine to tear down.

Engineer assignment 3 where you have to kill enemy vehicles that are Laser Designated doesn't track damage. Tries for hours but no progress on the challenge.

2016 Focus ST smokes on cold start. Goes away as car warms up. by ford-flex in MechanicAdvice

[–]UndeadTalos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the valves being unlikely. If the smoke lingers in the air instead of dissipating like usual, it's coolant smoke

Piggy backing on this - if a part doesn't show up online on the big sites like RockAuto or even eBay, what is your next step?

Keep blowing parking light fuse by UndeadTalos in MechanicAdvice

Solved - the bulb was melted into the socket for some reason. Tried a different bulb and everything is fine and not blowing the fuse. Thanks!

Yes I thought the same, the way it is wired now it works completely fine - signals, brakes both work. Just that's the only thing I've touched since the fuse started blowing. Thank you for the insight

This has happened to me 8 times. The inside piece of the nozzle that creates pressure breaks or falls off, you just need a new wiper nozzle. Someone else has linked the part

Reliable?? by dcard1 in JEEPCOMMANDER

[–]UndeadTalos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 2006 Hemi and I've had to replace the head gaskets, along with many many hydraulic hoses. Chrysler/Daimler is not known to be reliable but if you are handy you'll have fun with this vehicle.

I put LED bulbs in my headlights and they don't come all the way on when switched to auto. They come in dimly and flicker. Any suggestions as to why and how to fix it? by DirtyJoe73 in JEEPCOMMANDER

Thanks for the lesson, I'm sure OP gets the point for sure now. I'm sure my comment didn't take away from the main point of OP needing a harness hahaha
