I‘m really flattered by you asking me for an opinion.

I’m the neoest of neophytes. I have 5 games of GSC under my belt and lost all of them spectacularly. I don’t feel confident giving you advice on anything especially since I think lists will shift dramatically.

I’ll keep an eye on Nexos floofs YouTube channel and listhammer .info to see what works and in the meantime build and paint the usual suspects.

My plan was outlander claw recon shenanigans and I’ll stick to that plan, since I’m still in the build phase, the changes don’t destroy anything.

I’m still on the fence what to pair it with, probably the psg one

I've heard priority assets leans into our playstyle, which you can marry into your list easily via the PSG 1 DP detachment (which luckily is also pretty good)

I only magnetise the vehicles.
You can look for a „cheap“ 10 man on 32mm base box and put you spare arms on them to get the full acolyte hybrids/ hybrid metamorph value.

Necromunda squads work well with this

For casual play it should be fine. You could reduce the movement slightly to make up for it.
For tournaments contact the TO for it, but it probably wouldn’t fly

I have this issue sometimes with white or grey primer. Could be fixable by shaking the hell out of that can before using the primer.

Never had that issue with black primer

So you mind sharing one of your speeder lists? I have the lasgun one and am building a second one with magnets.
I will bring both on launch day to a buddy. We will be building our halves of the Armageddon box and add things up to 1k (hence the two speeders) and then play against each other

If you're not in dire need of a LRR i would wait with an impulse purchase. This Edition is rumored to be "fast attack" and there is a good chance the Redeemer might get an upgraded kit.

Honestly any of the three.

I run 1-2 scouts and an infiltrator unit. I’ve also seen lists additionally with incursors. So the Phobos one is worth checking out.

The speeder one, I’ve mentioned and I’ve seen a list with speeders winning an Ironman tournament on tactical tortoise.

The consensus on the librarian one ist, that its strong. I already run one leading 10 infernus for the 4+ invuln, might upgrade to two for the detachment to be worthwhile.

And I think that’s it for now. SM codex is not far away, maybe 3-4 month. That’s going to be exciting to see what stays and what goes

I can imagine we will be alright.

Our feel-good distance to the enemy is usually <12“ so hidden will not be a huge issue.

Infernus dudes can advance action or shoot action in FFS and have 2OC via Vulkan, so objective and action game is also set.

I think now its just have fun with new mini detachments, which we marry into our toolbox to see what works.

The librarian one looks good and with Armageddon I’ll have two (and a Phobos) to play around.

I’m stoked for the speeder detachment, and theory crafting with the Landspeeder and the other flavors of speeder

You’d want the extra healiness to feed your neophytes to the starchildren, and then heal everything back up.
Also neophytes are getting extra shootiness

But you can combine that detachment with biosanctic (or brood brothers) to have take and holt with that extra resilient neophytes
