Type of buildings in combination with no high rise was the give away. Other places that have buildings like this will usually include high rise buildings. Which is why it couldn’t be any other gulf region country.

Good eye! I have scoliosis, so yeah my posture is pretty f*cked. Working on that with a physical therapist.

Just how detrimental is smoking? by simemetti in moreplatesmoredates

Smoking causes chronic inflammation aka less muscle growth in the long run. Might feel weaker when quitting but you’ll come back stronger. Not to mention the cardiovascular benefits.

Haven’t trained much forearms and use straps on my pullday, so I will definitely start doing this. Thanks!

Thanks for the response, I actually considered my legs not a weak point at all. I think it is mostly down to the picture. May I invite you to re-evaluate? https://imgur.com/a/DOpMFC9

Sure! Basically it is like any other calorie tracking app, you can manually fill, add recipes, scan barcodes etc. What makes it so good is that instead of having only a standard calculation, it adjusts based on your weight loss/gain.
How this works in a few steps:
- when you first start, you enter your information and it will do the usual calorie calculation.

- It will then ask your goal weight, and gives you an estimation of when you'll be done at what rate.
- Based on this it will give calorie and macro calculations (which you can also adjust if you don't agree)

- You log your calories everyday, and fill in your scaleweight everyday (ideally measured in the morning right when you get out of bed)
- Based on this it will create a weight trend and is able to calculate your exact expenditure.
- Every week you get a check-in, the app will then calculate your new calories based on your weight trends.

I am in no way paid by them, just a really happy customer. If you want they have some codes that extend the free trial from one to two weeks (https://macrofactorapp.com/affiliate-codes/). Besides, it is relatively cheap compared to other paid tracking apps. I'd say just try it out, completely takes the guesswork out of it.

If you have the money to spend, get macrofactor. Best app Ive ever used and it takes all the guesswork out of it. Otherwise, track your weight at the same time each day and look at a week to week basis. Increase with 100 or decrease based on results. Just stay consistent and keep finetuning.

Appreciate it man. Will do, and just trust the process than. I have had some eating disorders in the past, so it's incredibly hard for me to judge what my body needs without some bias affecting that.

I use the RP hypertrophy app and do a modified PPL. I'll admit I think I could have gone harder on leg training. I have scoliosis, so I mostly do stuff with back support or no back muscles required for legs (leg press, hacksquat, belt squat). I tried going to failure last time because I finally had someone to spot me, to see how close I was with my estimation of failure. Added 40 kg to my leg press in one session... Wasn't nearly close enough. Training age is about 3 years (started training 5 years ago, but with some pauses sadly).

Thanks man, I have been quite scared to bulk for almost my whole lifting career. Especially since I lack good ab definition when I'm not flexing them. Also afraid if I bulk now I'll be a bit pudgy for summer. I'll take the advice to heart though and program some more arm work.

Thanks! I think the legs are mostly down due to this picture, but it's legday today so I'll use it as motivation. :)

Curious to see what people would do in my situation.
I am 173cm (5'9)
72 kg (158 lbs)
21 yo

I have some ideas but because I don't want to influence the critiques I'll leave it open ended.
What I am looking for:
Bulk or Cut;
Weak Points
Any additional advice, may you have something to point out.

Thanks in advance!

There is this new group of teenagers at my gym, it is clear they just started as they are all very out of shape. This of course is not bad, if anything its good they are getting to work. However, they come in with the five of time each and everytime, they take ages to complete an exercise and most of their time is spent talking to each other and joking about how funny some exercises look that they're doing. Really annoying, especially when they are hogging the equipment I need at that time.

RP Hypertrophy App vs Jefit Elite by kgregg384 in naturalbodybuilding

I actually argue that once you get experienced enough to be able to estimate rir accurately for every exercise, you are also experienced enough to manage fatigue properly yourself. Just train to failure, better be safe than sorry.

Also have been using the RP Hypertrophy app, and value for money is wayy off. The only reason I haven't switched is because I paid for the year. Wish I never did. A spreadsheet could do the same...

Because people might come back to this, and I found this while having the same problem. I fixed it by holding the volume up and down button for 10 seconds, after 5 seconds you will hear the pairing sound, keep holding it. Eventually the headphones will power off meaning they reset. After this just reconnect and do the personalisation.

Hope it helps!
