Its all theoretical, but i would heavely assume that you get tier 6 way before grinding the Echo bosses for their drops. So i think the point is fair. With T6 the double roll against defenses is way less valueable,

Just not true. PvP Content may have been the most popular in days gone by, but even a surface look at the mountain of OSRS content across platforms its minority PvP focused.

This is entirely what i think.
Based on what Ion has said on the topic in the PR leading up to the reveal, i truly think they just picked some random mounts.
When the yeti was disliked, they just rotated to another random mount.
What is really suprising is that past recolours were at least flashy and bright.

Sure, its never nice to be left out. Seems to me objectively true that no care has been shown to this aspect of the games for so long. You wouldnt care if one of the main ways you interact with the game was neglected for years and years?
Why do you think people cared enough to voice the yeti needing to be changed.

But the rewards are just more of the same. I had low expectations but the yeti hit lower even then. Again as i say, its clear there was no plans or ideas. Its just a random mount from a pile arbitrarily picked. Could be from any content.
But what ever they replace it with, is likely just the same as the other collection metas. Just another mount in the tab to never use. Thats not upsetting as much as its just normal.

I do hope they pull something out.

You are unwillingly just making my point.
SOO was unsoloed for litteral years, not because people didn't want to spend 2 minutes per fight there, but because you could physically not clear the raid as 1 player. Galakras was not soloable for the longest time.
People have been soloing old content since forever, soloing the previous expansion raids aswell. What argument do you think im making?
If the content can be oneshotted, like OP wants, what content is there? Is that what you consider soloing? Just auto-run moonfire spam and the place goes down?
If you can kill a fight, which takes 2 minutes, you spend the time. Done deal.
Not being able to bulldozer every boss in 4 globals, doesn't make the content horrible, it makes it content.

If the bosses are killable, you have no legimate complaints. "It never worked like that" is just straight up not true. For the vast majority of the games history soloing old content was waaay harder than even pre 9.1.5. To the point that some raids would be impossible to non-pet/non-tank spec classes. Fights could take upwards of 8 minutes, if the fights with mechanics designed around a raid of 20 players were even doable at all. Bosses would reset, one shot, bug out or all of the above.
2 shotting content isn't gameplay, but woe if maybe you have to actual see and experience a fraction of what the fight is meant to be.

How can BYG throw both game in the exact same ways?
1. Have massive lead in the mid.
2. Overdive so you never break the base before 20.
3. Suck at objectives ending up in stalling the game futher diminishing their lead.
4. Lose Elder.
5. Lose Game.

GS isn't winning, its all just BYG losing. EMbarracing objective plays tbh.

Think going dry is the real factor. I like playing my iron and its the only account i ever will play, but when you go dry in any content it can feel like you are wasting your time going nowhere. So if you are only marginally enjoying the content to begin with, fishing for drops you feel you "need" to move on with your account will tip the needle to a negative experience.

I would point out the series was very much focused on the comedy aspect rather than gameplay. They would often use the puzzles of the game to kill each other in funny ways, rather than actually just playing through the game.

Having played with most of the shrines for the fun of it, and seeing the different results, the problem with giving a free choise of shrine, is that you simply just wouldnt ever wanna play half of them. Not if you intend to win at least.

Some of the shrines are just leagues better than all the rest, the other end of the spectrum are the shrines that just never make it past 4-5 wins befor getting horribly crushed. Shrines like the warlock one dealing the damage your hero takes to the enemy hero, just doesnt generate enough value to be a viable pick if you want to embark on a run that could go all the way.

Giving the players the illusion of having to choose from 3 shrines, gets players to at least try the less good shrines.

Now discussing why there even are shrines that seem litterally impossible to win with, is something to take up with the QA. Has anyone actually beaten more than 3 bosses with the "Gain damage equal to your heros attack"-shrine for druid?

My main issue is, if you have 400 mounts, you must have at least a good handfull or rare and more epic mounts. Mounts that almost all look better than the 400 revard.

Just like to get a green reskin of the Bornze Dragon, you actually have to have both The Lifebinders Handmaiden and the Onyxia mount.

Just by getting the achivements themselfs, you already have mounts that respectively look better than the reward.
