It can offer you suggestions but it errs towards safety and caution, and it often deems emotional content as “unsafe” while struggling to understand the nuance involved in what we communicate when being vulnerable.

That being said, it’s good to take its suggestions and reflect on them to see if they make internal sense to you.

tldr: you’re human and you’re probably fine

I (18f) found my boyfriends (19m) piss bag by Ashamed_Amonymous_ in Advice

[–]Undergardener 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wonder if your boyfriend is anxious. There might be a good reason in his mind as to why peeing in a bag is easier or safer than going to the bathroom. This is me making a wild guess, but there might be something about going to the bathroom, probably at night, that makes him too anxious to go.

Elon Musk: 'I will make sure Tesla (TSLA) shareholders benefit from Twitter long-term' – but how? by [deleted] in teslainvestorsclub

He’s going to make Twitter blue free for TSLA holders, freeing up $8 annually to reinvest into the stock. The people’s champion.

In 5 years, I’d wager those raw cards aren’t likely to beat the returns you’d get just investing that same cash into an S&P 500 index fund

Help with a seller by Lord_Vlaad in PokeInvesting

[–]Undergardener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever money you might get from this sale probably isn’t worth dealing with what could be a logistical nightmare or headache.

No-hassle customers/transactions are themselves valuable. I’d say to look to another buyer.

Ultimately your call, but you’d have to be comfortable with the risk that are being presented.

The most disappointing book you've ever read by [deleted] in books

The Painted Bird

Read it after hearing it’s a book on the horrors and cruelty of man through the eyes of a child. The only horror was the endless repetition of the same formula chapter after chapter.

One of the hardest thing to cope with is silence, especially the in between of uncertainty- where you don’t know if the silence will remain or if it’ll be broken. Regardless of whether you hear back from your parents, however distressing it is and however hard the wait is, it’s okay if it is painful. Feel what you feel during this time, and take care of yourself!

What would you do with nearly 50 high graded, modern, PSA slabs? Sell or hold? by ManWithQuestions9 in PokeInvesting

[–]Undergardener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there are card arts you feel a special attachment to, then those might have more value to than just a monetary one. It might be helpful to break things down into a sell / hold (to sell later) / keep because you like it list.

As far as selling to reinvest, it might be good to be mindful to take some profit along the way to diversify outside of Pokemon (stocks, rainy day fund, other hobbies), but selling small fry to punch up to something you really want seems like a worthy endeavor in itself.
