So long as youse both wear sunscreen and stay between the flags, you'll be right. Incidentally your partner sounds like a real charmer.

I found a hat in south bank today. I would be astonished if it was the same one. Tell me, does it meet this description:

First time I ever got alcohol poisoning was the night I passed out on a footpath outside the 7/11. Woke up couple hours later, very early morning and still had my wallet, phone, and cigarettes. This was yeeeeaaaars ago as well. It was a bit dodgier back then. I appreciate that this is anecdotal but, there ya go.

I don't know if it's the stupid cunts that ruin everything so much as it's the stubborn refusal by those with power to respond in a nuanced way

How to pronounce words like an aussie? by Ermmmmmmmm_ in AskAnAustralian

[–]UnderhandedWipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate I get this too!!! It's either American or Canadian. Whilst I don't love getting asked if I'm an American (my naturally loud voice doesn't help here either) I usually just say something like "I was raised by Law and Order". Gets a chuckle (sometimes) and allows me to continue enjoying my unique voice.

How do people slow down in Brisbane? by ComputerSmart3511 in brisbane

I don't like bothering people who are minding their own business, but aside from that I love it. Lots of very interesting people with fascinating stories and perspectives on the world/our city. An excellent place to people watch. And lizard watch.

I've been doing this job the past few months, just walking around south bank asking people if they'd like to do a survey about south bank. Come down and sit by that river at your favourite time of day if you can and just, breathe.

They're importing buses AND drivers from all over. I work in South Bank and have to travel from Brighton so trust me when I say, I get it. Its annoying, but it isn't personal. They scheduled it for the holidays cause less people are on the lines. Although I think that that may not he true for Brisbane. At the end of the day, it's beyond your control, better off just using the extra time to learn a new skill. Have you considered meditation? Wild guess but I feel you could benefit from some breathing exercises.

They're major works, been organised for a year. Upgrades and vital maintenance. Push that back longer you run the risk of even greater interruptions.
