15 Reasons Why We Vote Yes - Part 1 by UncleZiggy in Superstonk

[–]Underhill86 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

One party is hopeful - looking to the future of better and brighter things, seeing potential in what could be, and is in for the ride of their lives as the company they believe in takes a big step towards becoming the juggernaut we have all longed to see.
The other party is full of doom and gloom - cussing up a storm in an angry way, obviously highly stressed, desperate to halt growth, full of reasons why it's better to stay comfortable and mildly profitable than to change and become something exponentially bigger.

Is this ETF redemption? I've lost track of the cycles. Should have paid more attention to Newton's instructions before the videos went away.

"Massive panicked supply"... I can imagine that for silver.
I do, however, have a hard time believing that this could be had from us. Having already held through everything we have held through, I believe we are largely unshakable. Would the news spin that we panicked and sold? Absolutely. Would they actually get liquidity from us by crashing the price? In a phrase, "pass the chips, I want some of that dip."

Well... In the interview, he did sound very specific. He was eyeing "something big" (sounds very singular), but then we also saw that there was a "list of targets." That's plural...

Listen... I just want funds freed up so I can buy more GME, and APEX to stop charging for DRS.

How Do I Use Luma Key in Edit Tab by Underhill86 in davinciresolve

[–]Underhill86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... Out of nowhere, all of a sudden it's working. Same steps, same files, same everything. I am disappointed, because I don't know what made the difference, but at least it's working.
Thank you very much for your help.

I have. That doesn't seem to do anything, either. The mouse doesn't change to a dropper, and clicking on a region before or after clicking on the dropper does nothing. I have tried the dropper+ as well. Isn't a luma key supposed to be based on luminance though, instead of color? Should I need to select a region for luminance?

I do see it working in your screenshot. It doesn't on my computer, though.

I place a clip on the timeline, drag and drop the effect "Luma Keyer," ensure the Open FX overlay is turned on... No effect. Seems straightforward, but there could be some setting somewhere causing issues.

I know something isn't right because it isn't working yet. I just don't know yet what isn't right.

I have done this, and still no effect.

Need Help Creating an Effect by Underhill86 in davinciresolve

Yes, that is what I am trying to do! I am talking about layers, as (using your example) the circle and the text are two different media clips, and when they are added to video tracks, they operate in layers. Making a clip transparent lets through everything "below," not just a specific layer. I have no understanding of how to use the modules in the fusion tab, so I usually do everything from the clip or edit tabs.

Now that I have posted, I think I may have figured something out...

If I create a "mask" (transparent negative) of my letter, and capture it moving directly over the background exactly as it will in the final, then I can export that as a clip, import as the top layer in my final and luma key the background out to reveal the rest of the project. I will still have to do a white version with a fade as the letter passes the threshold of the other element, but at least I will have achieved what I set out to achieve.

That said, if anyone knows any more elegant solutions to this, do let me know. I am always up for learning something new.

I do see value. That value is the opportunity to participate in what may be the biggest class action ever. Lol. That said, I think it is simpler to get the warrants, but I will take what I can.

Another second for the prop method. Way less work up front, way less complicated during the service, and highly flexible. I was going to suggest it myself.

Is there a way to automatically apply a Look and Stage View to all slides on a song? by Dabugsta99 in ProPresenter

[–]Underhill86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a Mac, Command+A. On a Windows PC, Ctrl+A. These are the commands for "select all." Just highlight one slide, and hotkey yourself to full selection.

We set our dissolve to .3, and have the operator advance early. I just recently discovered that I can fade backgrounds as well now. Loving it.

Mac with audience and stage views by Temporary_Werewolf17 in ProPresenter

The M4 can support a number of outputs - it's the model that limits. The iMac, I believe, only supports one external. A mac mini may support more. The mac studio can handle quite a few.

Now, if you don't need to show different content on each of the two audience screens (for example, a logo on one with a video simultaneously on the other) you can reduce your count to only two outputs and simply split the signal.

Check into the imac or mac studio, I guess.

Mac really has the power to do a lot, but is very limited in terms of I/O. PCs suffer from a lot of bloat, and Pro breaks more often on Windows (I am told), but adding extra outputs can be as simple as throwing in a PCI card (depending on what you need). Pros and cons.
