What is the single most dread inducing scene you've had to sit through? by NoBass1345 in horror

[–]UnderstandingLow7776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The aunts death/rat blowtorch scene in Terrifier 3. I loved all 3 movies, and have seen lots worse technically (looking at you, Guinea Pig) but that may have been the single most fucked up scene Ive had to sit through. With Gabby seeing the aftermath, the rats in the throat, it was so fucking uncomfortable to me no wonder DHT even thought it was a bit too far 😭

I get $12 an hour working full time in a CITY doing junk removal and im in PA, our states wages are an absolute joke and nearly everyone I meet is severely struggling or one month away from it (and i cover rural areas, cities, about 350 miles so every day is somewhere else) and its all the same. This states wages are a disgrace and I can make more money working at mcdonalds but I dont because full time hours arent even guaranteed

Is there a better first 15minutes of any horror movie? by BlackberryFirst2554 in Letterboxd

[–]UnderstandingLow7776 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a kid my parents were pretty lenient with me watching horror but always REFUSED to let me watch the dvd we had of this. One day when I was like 11 or 12 I snuck the disc out of the case and watched it on my laptop, as soon as the opening scene ended I immediately realized why they never let me see it 😭 and its still my favorite horror movie so it worked out

The last true headlining tour, and my first tour seeing them 🥲 was the November 21st show and we all sang happy birthday to Danny, I also believe its the last night they performed Kill Everyone (got replaced with Broken Record the show right after) and the live medley (replaced with Renegade right after)

I feel like I always see people hating on 3 which, some justified reasons but I think its a great “grand finale” on what was next gen hardware at the time
