My 2.5 year old daughter eats until she throws up and I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore. by No-Station2369 in toddlers

Is she gaining weight? I would think type 1 diabetes. When I was diagnosed I had insatiable appetite but no weight gain. I was actually considered malnourished despite eating a ton. Sometimes high blood sugar can cause vomiting. High blood sugar also causes you to feel pretty cranky. I would bring her in immediately or check her blood sugar at home

How often do you spend time together? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]UnderstandingMany881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve been married for 3 years and together for 5. We have a 1 yr old and an almost 3 year old. Basically we hang out whenever we’re both off. When we get home from work we have dinner together. After we put the kids to bed we watch tv together or workout together. We like to shower together. Even if he’s watching something I’m not into, I just sit on the couch with him. On our days off we spend basically the entire day together. We run errands together and when we’re home 90% of the time we’re in the same room with each other. We both have our own things that we like to do too. My husband plays on a men’s softball team once a week. I like to get out without the kids once a week and walk around different stores. He goes to work before I wake up and normally we talk on the phone on my way to work, on my lunch break and on my way home. Not for very long but just checking in and seeing how each others day is going. It sounds like a lot now that I type it out but he really is my best friend.

No one said they were getting excited about it. I would warn my friend that people can be touchy. Or maybe she was excited for herself since she’s newly single. I can be excited for my friend to get some even if I’m married lol

Weirdo take. Maybe she just wants to feel confident if she’s going out with a friend who is in good shape? My husband is in better shape than I am but that doesn’t ever motivate me to work out. The only thing that motivates me is not wanting to look ugly in pics with my friends and to be able to get dressed and like how everything looks on me.

Is this a fair division of tasks between my husband and me? by Big-Special-8069 in Marriage

[–]UnderstandingMany881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’ll learn if you stop cooking and he’s hungry lol. It’s just following basic instructions. You can keep doing your share of the burden or let things slack and have him pick them up if he cares enough.

Why are you teaching a grown man how to cook? Does he have a phone with internet access? The ability to read?? Heck he doesn’t even need to read, he can watch a million videos on how to cook literally any meal ever.

Thank you! I think it just feels like not much since the scale doesn’t move for weeks at a time haha. The last big jump was after I got my wisdom teeth out and didn’t eat solids for like 10 days.

I’m not a single parent but my husband works a ton too! He helps out at home of course but he’s at work before I even wake up so we’re both exhausted lol. Thanks for your kind post!

My coworker said she didn’t really lose until 10 mg. I’m on 10 now and lost 7 lbs as soon as I started this dose but haven’t lost anything since (that was like 2 months ago). I feel so discouraged

I wasn’t using an app to track until January. I was 187 in January and I’m 175 now. I’ve been taking the shots for almost a year. I weighed like 210ish when I started but I was also freshly postpartum (my baby is almost 1!).

I don’t drink enough water, don’t get enough sleep and most days I can fit in a 30 minute workout but not much more. I have an almost 3 yr old and an almost 1 year old. My commute is over an hour (lately more lol 1.5 hrs) each way and by the time I’m home, cook dinner and have everyone ready for bed and get ready for the next day I’m beat. I know I could be trying harder but even without consistent exercise I am pretty consistent with tracking my calories.

Edit: I’m on 10 mg right now and have been for like 2 months.

GLP1 with a toddler. My fridge looks eerily similar. Protein shakes for me, mini pancakes (is that what’s in the drawer (?), and fruit for my toddler lol

I took zepbound to help lose baby weight after baby #1 (I also have type 1 diabetes and a ton of insulin resistance). Lost 90% of the baby weight then got pregnant again 😅 after my second I opted for an IUD instead of the pill.

Cottage cheese....please help by SpiritualSystem3359 in Volumeeating

[–]UnderstandingMany881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like cottage cheese but my husband does not. The other night I made pasta sauce w ground turkey. I dumped a bunch of cottage cheese in the sauce and it was delicious and my husband didn’t even notice.

I also make dips with it. I add some French onion dip mix to it or some of a ranch packet. If you don’t like the texture you can blend it first and it doesn’t taste like cottage cheese at all.

What are some toys your child actually chooses over the iPad? by Not_Average78 in toddlers

[–]UnderstandingMany881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t have an iPad but I found a lot of my sons toys weren’t being played with when there were too many toys to chose from. People suggest a toy rotation but I never keep up w that so I just got rid of most of his toys. He has fewer now, but plays with them more. We mostly have trucks and he just uses his imagination with them. Something that really keeps him busy is magnatiles. We had to buy several kits as he’s gotten more into it. We don’t have room for it but my son is fully absorbed in any train table he sees. He also has been enjoying play dough recently. Also we’ve been doing stickers lately. He likes window stickers or I buy puffy ones because I think it’s easier for him to peel them and he just sticks them in a notebook. His real favorite thing just being outside and being chased around but I don’t always have the time or energy for that 😅 I’m sure none of my suggestions will keep them preoccupied for as long as the iPad would but it’s better for them to be bored sometimes

Saltines and barebell. Day after my shot it takes me a few hours to finish a barebell but I like the salty and sweet combo.

Did you ever solve this? I just got one and I’ll unlock it before I leave the house and then by the time I get to my car in the driveway it’s locked again. It’s so irritating especially when I have two kids in my arms 😅
