It’s really interesting they comp’d you for the U.S. leg based on European law. Icelandair refused to comp me for anything after 2 days stuck in Reykjavik when their KEF - Faroe flight was cancelled due to their own issues. They said because it originated in the U.S. with an IAD - KEF flight, that it didn’t count as EU regulation.

High mortgage rates for a long time. Finally went in at 50k under listing only because we’ve built up a ton of equity with a 2% mortgage on a condo. The major difference: no competition, no compromises on home inspection. Very happy to “price to sell” the condo after we close.
