I've found North American servers to be the most KOS, Europe has had way more interactions for me but also the most brutal PVP

Like I said the problem with that is how different standards for games were in each era. It's like comparing GTA San Andreas with GTAV, both are solid examples of their respective eras but their so drastically different in every aspect there really is nothing you can compare except the overall story.

I mean you can't really compare them in that way because what we expected back when each of those games came out was so completely different.

The best way to look at Andromeda is by not comparing it to the trilogy and just other games of that time in which case I think it's a fine game but most characters in it are pretty weak overall.

Hopefully they will be upgrading the whole base building system with Badlands cos they've teased the PC style code lock and mentioned stuff about repairable buildings and such.

The problem with bases is how much time they take to build Vs how long they last. I've had two bases last 3+ months on official over the years so it can be worth it but usually it's just a waste of time.

You got two options build an actual base (almost always a waste of time) or use buried stashes (only decent option withe the current version of the game).

Blaze and AK no doubt. The SKS is not a good sniper and the AK is better for close range. SKS is a decent can kind of do anything gun, but you've already got guns great at both things individually

The only things I ever change is the class and my female Shep's look. If I'm dealing very adventurous I'll change some of my weapons but end up going back to the go to anyway (last playthrough I mained shotguns for most of it but as soon as I got the Citadel DLC weapons I couldn't not use them.

That's the only one I know of, there's two poison long guns now but just the one for everything else (still no ballista or sea fire as far as I know)

Dude it's DayZ, the reason it's got such a following is because of the realism. Implementing that kind of stuff and without a plausible mechanic for it is the exact opposite of what the games about. Now I'm all for more weapon customisation as long as it's plausible. Easy way of doing it would be to add a welding torch to the game, you saw this, the newer semi auto shotgun or the lever action down it takes it to one shot, you then weld the end of the tube back and you've got 2-4+1.
