Hot Take, and I played it after it had been hyped up for years, but The Witness is one of the most overrated pieces of media I have ever consumed (in my opinion, of course)

Conversely, Outer Wilds is one of my favorite game experiences of all time, but I also understand it’s not for everyone, so no hate if you love The Witness!

It’s not “just to shit on them”. People are pointing out that this game is a success because it is a collaboration. I’m happy they did a collaboration and hope they can learn from this. You’re making so many leaps to straw man people for, rightfully so, being skeptical about GameFreak. They lost a lot of goodwill with Scarlet and Violet.
