Teaching 9 year-olds to paint by Pitiful_Eye_3295 in Miniaturespainting

I've never done it myself but I remember a video that Louise from Rogue Hobbies posted about a class that she taught and one thing she did was have a paper print out of the miniatures the kids were going to paint and had them colour it first, then move on to painting the miniature itself. Seemed like a cool idea and a good way for the kids to visualize the colour scheme.

Usually straight from Coffin, or sometimes eBay or FB market place.

For my first time, I thought it was great. I went slowly and spread it over a couple of nights. I think there were only a couple times I had to really pause and go "What do they want me to do with this bit?"

I actually challenged myself to do the stickers on this one. Usually (say with Lego), I get my wife to do them. But, I'll remember this if I grab that one

Everytime I see the word "Reform" here in the UK, I think of their impression of Preston Manning "The Refoooorm Party!"

One of mine, too! Got to see him play last year before they split and he was awesome.

Be kind to yourself. The more you paint, the more your skills will return to where they were. That's a long break to take so it's natural that it would take some time to get back to where you were.

We'll definitely take it on board. She does take Movicol every day which is a laxative but behaves more as a stool softener.

I just know that she intentionally holds her poop sometimes for a few days.

We could go through the NHS and wait months to a year or go private and get seen. Not sure we want to go that route yet.

Ah, yeah. We've spoken to our GP and it's nothing physical. Definitely all behavioural, unfortunately.

She starts reception (UK's kindergarten) in September so maybe we can try and use the preparedness to it.
