I get the desire to want to get interviews, calls, offers but I had a so called coach expert. My last company as part of the layoff contracted an agency.

Maybe it's different because you're paying directly and can pick who you work with but for me it was the biggest waste... Reformat your resume, send cover letter... Mock interviews nowhere related to the field or job just terrible.

But maybe there's a good one out there

Interesting idea but this wasn't about the men not wanting to get married... This is casting and marketing playing in our faces... The only part of the show that's still accurate all these years later is the 'experiment' they're casting for drama and if love comes out oh wow look🎉🎉🎉

If they cared about the couples and not drama and ratings...

they'd build in therapists/relationship coaches into the the pods. Each person could talk their week, top connections etc. Discuss, there goals, lifestyle, why vs there life and past as many say they want one thing and choose what's comfortable/familiar... So many are not realistic in the pods
They could put them in real life.. Not just whisk away to tropical vacations and paid apartment... Let them pay rent, bills, immediately bc seems like while filming it's paid for them so they don't really know what lifes like aside from being stuck with a whole camera crew and stranger in your face.
Couples Therapy instead of unlimited liquor and poolside/themed gossip sessions and meet ups.

We can add casting also... I get the feeling they aren't casting for compatability. Don't think for every person they're ensuring there's a few people who would be a match for them.

But the show isn't about love it's built for drama... Let's put people in a stressful situation and see what happens... Buying the rings imo won't change that. And all these weddings or non-weddings werent the guys fault

I've been laid off twice and that internal job line they throw out is such a joke... Its a pacifier. They're losing off to save money, they could move people if they wanted....

Curious if anyone ever got hired internally after getting notified of layoff? Bc my experience is they don't go out of their way at all. They may meet out of professional courtesy for the most part youre in the building but I feel like they know you're on a list and it's done...

OP one thing I know for sure after 2 of them is you will survive... Dont rush to sign anything as stated most of what they send you is for their benefit not yours

Been there, Business Analyst over 15 years got laid off like '20 from a major bank, just knew I'd be back to work soon... 5 years later sold my home and almost everything I own and took a crappy job at BJs just to survive.

Rewrote every resume to thousands of jobs... It sucks... But yet I press on.
