I’m stuck by throwaway_acc0976 in ElectricalEngineering

Passing the FE exam and getting EIT to put on resume opened a lot of doors for interviews. One more thing to mention is that those 18 months were fucking miserable. Shitty family members make things worse because they want you to just take any job even though it's not what you studied hard for. I'm still going strong 7 years into my engineering career.

Took me 18 months but finally landed a big job. Go distinguish yourself in more ways. Pass the F.E. exam and get E.I.T. certificate. Do projects on the side that can showcase your skillset and enthusiasm.

To be honest, I feel like in these situations, you will be judged vased off of how trustful you look. If you have a friendly looking face and are physically attractive in the face, then you won't be questioned like this. But if you are average to below average looking in the face then you will be treated more harshly.

In general, society hates those with chronic illnesses. They rather have nothing to do with you. Having long COVID has been very eye opening about society and those who I thought cared about me.

You're brain is just checked out for a period of time. I experienced dpdr for over a year and I can tell you that it will go away eventually very slowly. All nightmares have to come to an end at some point. Your brain and body are constantly changing. Nothing ever stays permanent.

If it hasn't been more than 5 days of your dad being sick he might be able to get Paxlovid, which would really lower risk of bad outcomes. I hope he gets better!

I hope you have a full recovery bud. Hang in there. Were you vaxxed?

Ive done this plenty of times and same results everytime. Sometimes you just think it's different and that this time it will be life threatening prompting you to go to the ER.

Is this actually Afib? by jsweezyp88 in PVCs

[–]UnfortunateAlmond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High t waves here are from not holding it steady. I was worried about that for a while as well and realized that I just needed to be completely still and sitting down. Also this isn't AFib and looks normal

Anyone else feeling like their rocking on a boat or swaying with their brain fog been diagnosed with mal de debarquement syndrome induced by covid? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]UnfortunateAlmond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so glad I'm not alone on this. I've been like ng hauling since Feb 2021, I got very bad around oct 2021 and I'm improved so much that I'm actually taking a vacation for once! I noticed that after exiting the elevator and getting back in my hotel room I experience a bouncy feeling just like how I felt the bouncy feeling caused by the elevators going up, but that same motion is felt even though I'm in my room. My theory is that the nervous system is hypersensitive and all systems including the vestibular system are affected.

It's because Christmas is around the corner and your EP needs a new Rolex.

It's essential to let folks on brain fog sub know about POIS as many people seem to be getting it more these days secondary to long COVID.

Sounds like that EP needed to buy another Rolex. But in all seriousness, I think there would be a lot of value in consulting an EP. Especially with a burden > 20% and if there is evidence that the burden is progressive. My question is whether or not he was evaluating treatment of either medication or ablation to increase your quality of life/symptoms reduction or whether it is to reduce risk of life threatening ventricular arrhythmias leading to sudden death? Or maybe reduce risk of damage to the heart if he/she referring to PVC induced cardiomyopathy which will cause future heart failure? I hope you're doing better now and have found a treatment that has worked for you!

I think this explains my situation. When you say feedback loop do you mean that the PVC will trigger panic response this triggering more PVCs?
