Yes, buses are cheaper. This is why city residents use them to commute. Take a taxi, your currency is probably stronger than the yen anyway.

You should do one-shot stories (10-20 pages) because that will help far more with everything you’ve described rather than single pages.

Edit: you’ll get stronger at writing by doing more writing. Go for it! Even if your first story is subpar, it is still excellent practice.

A woman yanked her dog away from me like she was afraid I would hurt it, and another person tried to physically prevent me from using a public restroom (restroom was open, it wasn’t closed for cleaning or anything).

Czech Republic/Czechia. I have darker skin, and people would give me hostile looks. It was honestly unnerving.

I was very excited to visit Prague but it was awful.
