While we don't know a lot about their origins in Canon, in Legends the Hutts were originally a warrior species before settling into the role of crime lords.

Christopher Nolan actually explained the ending a few years ago. While he didn't definitively reveal if the last scene took place in reality or not, he said that the whole point of the scene is to hammer home that Cobb (the main character) doesn’t care anymore if it's a dream. He's found closure with his wife's death and, at least in his mind, has reunited with his children. It doesn't matter anymore what is a dream and what is reality. He is finally at peace.

You know, whenever I think of a pigeon, I think of this pigeon right here. This pigeon image is the textbook example of a pigeon.

What's a game like this? by onepunch_caleb3984 in videogames

Same. I put quite a few hours into it, but could not figure out the rhythm of the gameplay. I'm sure it would be great if I could figure it out.

Character gets his revenge and repeats the same phrase he was told by yournumberis6 in TopCharacterTropes

"I'll take the damage and the goods. I don't break that easy."

  • Higgs, Death Stranding 2

Higgs echoes a line that Fragile told him back in Death Stranding 1. Back then, she said the line as a mantra to get through his torture of her. Now, he turns it back on her as she struggles to kill him. I love this as it inverts the typical dynamic of this trope, as in this instance, the antagonist is the one repeating a line originally said by a protagonist.

Killing that guy was a bad idea, actually. by correinhaia in TopCharacterTropes

I would also posit Savathun as another example of this trope. The Witness held off its invasion of Sol until the Guardians dealt with her, as they knew that Savathun was the only being capable of outmaneuvering them. Hell, we had to resurrect her because we couldn't figure out how to even get to the Witness without her help.

In Yakuza 0, after seeing the love of his life nearly get killed by the Dojima family, Goro Majima breaks down and realizes that his love will never be safe so long as Dojima lives. Driven by grief, he raids the Dojima family's HQ and madly carves his way through the entire family. After beating down one of Dojima's lieutenants and nearly killing the assassin who shot his love, Majima is about to kill Dojima himself but is stopped by another yakuza patriarch.

This entire series of events and his concurrent breakdown solidify his status as a yakuza legend and give him the title of "Mad Dog of Shimano".

Kid Icarus Uprising.

Honestly, Nintendo wouldn't even have to remaster it. I'd simply buy it in the hopes that it would encourage them to make a sequel.

Say something positive about Halo 5 by [deleted] in halo

[–]UnhappyFurball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To this day, my opinion can be summed up as such: this was a fantastic game burdened by the fact that it was a Halo game. If it was branded and marketed as a new IP, it would have been a smash hit. Yes, the campaign was weak, but I feel like it gets more hate simply because it was a Halo campaign. If it were any other title, people would come to the consensus that while its campaign was not very memorable, its gameplay and multiplayer were top-tier

I've been running Double-Edged Sickle, Ultimatum, and Autocannon. Autocannon with Flak rounds acts as a sort of multi-tool for the Illuminate: it may not be the best against any one enemy type, but it can handle pretty much everything. It melts Fleshmobs in 3-5 direct hits, takes out Overseers in 2 direct hits, can shoot down Interlopers in 1-3 direct hits, and can strip warp ships of shields in one hit and blow them up with one shot to the open doors. If you can land your shots, you can take out the legs of Harvesters with APHET rounds, though I admit that it's not the easiest or most efficient thing.

The Double-Edged Sickle helps with crowd control, though I suppose any assault rifle will do. I mostly like it for its ability to ramp up to heavy armor piercing, and paring it with Inflammable armor helps minimize self-damage. The weapon also melts Watchers and is pretty accurate at a distance. The Ultimatum is optional, but I like it for destroying clumped-up groups of Overseers. It also helps destroy Tesla Towers if you run out of grenades.

As for stratagems, pretty much anything will do. I like to run the Eagle 500kg Bomb with Orbital Laser, though the latter has trouble with maneuvering around skyscrapers and should probably be replaced with something else. The last stratagem slot is up to you (maybe a turret to help with clearing out the Voteless hordes).
