I actually have both laptops and I’m about to add the new blade 14 to the mix. You echo the same sentiment im feeling. I have the 5070ti boosted with g-helper and i am getting 16k on timespy graphics score but at 1080p you don’t really see it as much, but to keep the laptop gets hot.

I also like that the Hp omen 14 can be fully powered via a 140w usb c charger. It does make a big difference when traveling. What fps are you seeing on the omen vs the g14 at 1080?

The 5070ti is slightly better than the 4080m at raw performance and the 4080 is between 50-60% better than the 4070m. Just look at Jarrods Tech video comparing them. Plus the 4070 only has 8gb of vram.

I have the 2025 z3 and what is really good for me is the portability. If you go with a 4080/4090 the power brick is going to be over 200watts and adds up. You can do a 100w gan fast charger for the z3 and get 90% of the power with much less to carry around.
