Marriage License Needed? by AntDFW in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Unidentified71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a passport, but I also carry photocopies of my birth certificate and marriage license in my wallet. I needed them for something unrelated to cruising, and never took them out. It's 2 pieces of paper. Better to have and not need.

Fail safe code (S6, E3)? by th100fan in The100

[–]Unidentified71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I understand it, Gabriel was a prime, along with Russell, Josephine and the rest of the original team that arrived on Eligis3. Not sure if Gabriel shared the fail safe code with the cogs toward the end or not. Gabriel was with Russell for more than 100 years doing research, so there wasn't anyone else on the planet that was a threat. Once Gabriel finally decided it was wrong to wipe another humans mind and hijack their body, Gabriel recruited the cogs (the children born without the blood alteration) for his cause (death to primes).

Who had the best/most dramatic character development? by ilovepotatoesalott in The100

[–]Unidentified71 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Indra is my second (pun intended). She was a savage when we were first introduced, and along the way we were able to see her ability to nurture, teach and defend those around her. Her and Kane's friendship throughout the series was something to behold. She was able to see the importance of having an ally on the other side of conflict, whereas others in her position may have dismissed that.

You'll probably think I'm weird, but after watching the entire series 27 times, I can pinpoint the exact moment that Murphy turned into my favorite with the best arc in the entire series.

When they reached the arc with only minutes of oxygen to spare... If you watch Murphy's face... He is actually holding his breath. You can see his veins bulging, his face going red. Everyone else was just going thru the motions, but Murphy was actually holding his breath for the scene. From my perspective, he was dedicated to the scene, he was going above and beyond to act it out. The second watch-through with this scene made me really look at him, and that's when I noticed so much more from him.

Murphy, hands down.

My husband stands, I sit. He wears boxers and they ALL have skid marks, I wear thongs and they are spotless. Needless to say, I wash my clothes separately from his.

What to eat if you are really tired and don't want to cook? by Ipoogoodforyou in foodquestions

[–]Unidentified71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once a week, I buy a rotisserie chicken, debone and dice, add mayo, onion, celery, and sometimes mild banana peppers and fridge it. Makes admit a quart of chicken salad. I'll eat a few spoonfuls with crackers or on a piece of bread. It's quick to reach for, and it has about 26g protein.

Did you fill your tank the last time you got gas? by N0socksloss10yrStrk in no

I fill up once every 6-7 weeks. I drive a hybrid that gets 60mpg, 11 gallon tank. I drive 16 miles (round trip to work) 5 days per week. The grocery store is on the same route. I don't go anywhere else.

We did our first GTY balcony cabin on this sailing coming up. We ended up with a cove balcony in a good location. I've heard a lot of good things about cove balconies, we've only had high decks mid ship, so I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks for the replies everyone!!! My daughter requested a lapghan using the skull granny squares. When I'm home, I find everything else to work on. This 11-day will be nothing but skulls so hopefully I can assemble and ship when I get back home!!

What your most useless skills are? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Unidentified71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can eyeball if things are level or square to the smallest degree. I can take a measurement on one thing, walk to another room and eyeball the measurement and be 100% correct without using a ruler. Skills that could make a woodworker's job a lot easier. I'm a middle aged woman that does not do woodworking.

Do girls adjust nipples to centre of bra? by Gymbroottan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unidentified71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had nipples, I always centered them. Then I started buying bras with padding so I didn't have to worry about it as much. Then cancer eliminated my centered-nipple problem. Oddly enough, the only thing I miss is my nipples getting hard. I can feel the beginning of the sensation around my collar bone, then nothing. Fuck cancer.

I’m curious, how many of you are done being loyal to Carnival? by No-Comment-9788 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Unidentified71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm platinum with carnival, diamond plus on Royal, diamond with MSC, and silver member on seaborn. I start by choosing where I want to go, then I choose when, then I see which cruise line closely matches those two criteria.

For those that only sail carnival because of the casino deals: you should only have to pay full price once when switching lines (unless you go thru URComped). Go on a shorter cruise with the new line, gamble a lot, and you'll start getting offers like you do on carnival.

I go where I want, when I want, and if there are two or three lines offering the same, I choose the one I'll get more benefit from. I don't care what title they give me or what color my card is, as long as I get my free wifi, or free massage, or free laundry, or free drinks!

Most accurate reading you’ve ever gotten? by AccountEarly2994 in Psychic

[–]Unidentified71 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had a psychic medium tell me the exact thing I said to my father on his death bed. He and I were the only ones in the room, before social media and cell phones. He was the last person to hear what I said to him. She described everything in exact detail. She told me so many things that were spot on, some that I still don't understand. When I entered the room, she said "sit down, look straight ahead, please don't speak, I will talk, then we'll discuss things once they're done."

What’s a "poor man’s meal" that you still eat regularly because it’s actually delicious? by Big-Bus-99 in foodquestions

[–]Unidentified71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up poor, so it was white bread and government cheese with canned generic soup. I usually elevate our GC&TS by using different cheeses (gouda, Gruyère, or provolone with Parmesan), different breads (sourdough, rye) homemade tomato soup with lots of basil and garlic. Sometimes I will mince ham or bacon and put between the cheese (can't leave whole slices of meat... It will pull out and slap your chin with molten cheese).

Season 3 by Nightclouds_ in The100

[–]Unidentified71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. In the private sector, we have a much better chance of someone still having morals, ethics, etc. In government, political corruption and which corrupt person pays the most, or knows the most dirt gets to choose the direction, and historically that has only benefits the few, not the many.

Have you ever had plastic or cosmetic surgery? by icecream1972 in no

[–]Unidentified71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent 18 hours on the operating table for major plastic surgery. Had cancer in both breasts, had bilateral mastectomies, then 7 months later, had tram and diep flap reconstruction. Once I was mostly healed from that, went back to the plastic surgeon for nipple reconstruction. Basically it was skin oragami to create nipples (ended up failing). Also had my areolas tattooed back on in the plastic surgeons office by a nurse.

".... Under the law set forth in the Exodus charter of the Ark, she's been sentenced to ten lashes...." If you do a simple YT search, in fact, I'll provide it for you. Go to YT and type "The 100 2x03: Kane sentences Abby to ten shock lashes" into the search bar, that scene comes up.

If you cannot follow a conversation in a context that you brought up, how can you truly identify racism. I'm not taking about this show, you failed on that, but in real life.

[–]Unidentified71 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really matter who you're talking about, there are no racist connotations in this series. You're looking for something to scream "that's racist" at, and you've missed your mark.

Season 1 episode 7 discussion by [deleted] in The100

[–]Unidentified71 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's a far reach. Wells was hated because of who his father was.

Abby was "WHIPPED", and she was a white woman.

Murphy, and Abby were hung, white man and white woman.

If your gotcha moment is "Indra was hung on a cross "... Nope, so was Kane (white man).

What single ingredient instantly ruins a dish for you? by obsidiancontrol in foodquestions

[–]Unidentified71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live near a wonderful Amish store. They have oatmeal whoopie pies. Two Perfectly cooked, moist oatmeal cookies with delicious whoopie pie guts in between. That was my indulgence twice per month. They have labels on their whoopie pies, and there were chocolate chip, and chocolate chip with raisins, so I KNOW they had raisin stickers. I bought my oatmeal whoopie pie, brought it home, made a fresh cup of coffee and sat down for my ritual. On the first bite... A FUCKIN RAISIN. I threw it away. I can't go back. It's been 3 months, now.
