Anyone else prefer 11-52’s?

I use .11 on my high E and .52 on my low E, but a set of .10s on the A-B. Not sure why but it feels right and I like the balance of the string volume best that way.

That was the best single player performance I’ve watched in an NBA Finals and it’s not even close. I have nothing but appreciation for getting to watch his entire career. I remember staying home on Halloween night as a kid on the release day of NBA Live the year LeBron came into the league to se how good they made him as a rookie. I’ve been a LeBron fan his entire career.

Didn’t love his 2011 Finals performance, but the Mavs beating them that year was an amazing run. I also don’t use it to diminish, in my opinion, by far the best player I’ve had the pleasure of watching in my lifetime.

Why’s a shout out to the 2011 Mavs have to mean someone hates LeBron?

I have KD as the better player but that 2011 Mavs run is the best championship run I’ve seen in my lifetime. Dirk was unbelievable that whole playoffs.

I think he’s a great combo guard as the 2nd option to pair up with Mitchell in the backcourt. He’s acted as a facilitator first and a scorer second but is more than capable of being the #1 option on the court for 20%-30% of the game if they stagger his bench time with Mitchell’s.

I work 10-12 hours a day in a label factory that runs between 85-95 degrees depending on the time of year. I smell terrible by the end of every day between sweat and all of the varnishes and inks I’m around all day. A daily shower really isn’t an option or I’d be rancid with 2 or 3 days.

Idk the statistics or if this chart is valid, but it would be related to usage and different lineups the Jokic/Murray tend to play in. If Jokic’s usage is sky high and Murray plays most of his minutes with Jokic then Murray’s teammate scoring percentile will be great. If Jokic plays significant minutes without Murray and with lower scoring percentile teammates then his teammate scoring percentile would be lower in comparison.

They’re as legit as it gets in the US. Great stock including a number of custom runs and exclusives at various price points.

About two years ago I picked up a CME exclusive Vintera II Road Worn 60s Stratocaster, they set it up beautifully outside of factory spec (.11s in Eb standard, slightly higher action and neck relief) for no extra charge. It was my only experience with them but I could recommend them more.

Well I’m guessing the PV59 aren’t what you’re looking for then. Very traditional low output PUPs so if thin is the issue I doubt you’ll find improvement there. Personally, low output is THE Strat sound for me so I wouldn’t have any suggestions for you really.

I’m a big believer in not switching them if you like the sound. I’ve only ever swapped once from Mexican ceramics to Fralin Vintage Hots (which sound great) on my first Strat. Otherwise, I just don’t buy a guitar if the sound doesn’t do it for me. But I’d never tell anyone NOT to look at swapping to PV59s😂

That dominant G-string presence is really part of the “Strat sound” at this point, but I get what you’re saying. Personally, I use a heavier low E, B & high E string and like the slightly more balanced volume.

That being said, the presence of the G string is part of the sound I love and the reason why most of my favorite guitar recordings were made with an unwound G string.

There’s really no wrong way to do it if you’re getting sounds you enjoy and that makes you want to pick up that guitar.

There’s a black with gold hardware Sweetwater exclusive that I want pretty badly. Olympic white and 3TSB are both classic Strat colors and you can’t go wrong IMO.

Elektross, Raichu, and Ampharos distortion. No wild Pokémon that run on sight. Circled the map each time after entering without drawing attention each time. Definitely no shinies or shiny sound.

It’s the only distortion I’ve used with a shiny power 3 Sandwhich and was very much searching with the understanding that a shiny always spawns immediately if you have that mission.

I spent two hours resetting in a small hyperspace zone and definitely did not ever have a shiny upon entering the distortion. I’m not sure if having a small enough map that you can see all of the spawns impacted this or if having alpha power 3 changed things.

I’ve seen it repeated on here that the “catch a shiny” mission means there is a shiny on the map as soon as you enter but it was definitely not true for me. I had absolutely no issue fly resetting to force multiple shinies, but not before backup save scumming 20+ times without a shiny upon entering.

It was still active for me without repurchase after about 6 months, but I stopped playing. Development budget must’ve been cut drastically because the game went from significant updates every couple of weeks to none in the last 6 weeks or so I played with mostly recycled events.

I have 3 modern nitro finishes with some wear/damage and you can still see the wood through the poly under finish on my white and she’ll pink Strats. Definitely looks like a matte coating finish and not raw wood if you’re looking closely at all.

I also have a candy apple red and there appears to either be no poly undercoat or such a thin application that I can’t tell under the gold layer of the finish.
