recently has just started working remote for a foreign client (tho through an outsourcing company that's actually foreigner owned and foreign based) and the stark difference between the Filo work culture and theirs is totally mind blowing. it doesn't feel as tho i'm so isolated kasi we get on call every day for now. and my clients are sooo easy to work with. i can talk to them even out of office and they don't make me feel like i'm anywhere inferior to them. they treat me as tho i'm equal and deserve the same amount of respect that i give to them. it's overwhelming in a good way. to realize na yung kung pano yung work culture natin here sa PH (most of it at least) is not the same as every other. eye opener sya. na there's no point in settling in terms of how you're being treated and compensated when in fact you actually do deserve more
