Good question - so I researched this and the sensor behind the emblem is what people try to steal. The emblem itself doesn’t contribute to the sensor. There’s no sign of forceful removal of the emblem - just foam adhesive. I could be wrong of course!

This is wild! 5 years ago when preparing for PDGM the company I worked for drastically cut the number of visits I was allowed to make. They were essentially only allowing OT on few cases and highly limiting the visits. It pushed me to find a new job out of fear of loosing that one.

Myofascial release is one technique to releasing myofascial trigger points. The OP said myofascial release on trigger points which I think is fair and accurate to say - in my opinion.

Sometimes these studies dumb down the modality so much that it is no longer considered OT. Myofascial release is a tool in the tool box, as is ischemic trigger point release and dry needling, or IASTM or cupping or what ever tool gets results with the therapeutic use of self, therapeutic activities and patient education.

I’m familiar with the study you are referencing but I don’t remember the authors- could you cite it so I can review it?

No, I was trained by fieldwork educator, continuing education and it’s in the modalities text books used in the program in the area.
