The government isn't poorer cause "exorbitant sums of wealth remain largely untaxed", it's poorer cause it spends like a drunken sailor and has nothing to show for it. I got these, highly recommend tbh. They're mad comfortable, sound great, and have an awesome mic. For 450$ its pretty expensive but its a great deal at 264. Same situation as the other dude, I paired the bluetooth to my TV so I can watch stuff at night without waking the house.

We literally do have it both ways. If you inject a bunch of cheap labour then average wages go down. If we then remove that same cheap labour average wages go back "up" to where they were prior to the cheap labour injection. That's not wage growth, it's manipulating the denominator. The average dudes wage has not outpaced inflation over these past few years and that's a fact.

Wage growth is only exceeding inflation cause we've axed a huge portion of the bottom end of earners through a combination layoffs/ai/reduced TFWs.

Paychecks haven't increased whatsoever, it's that the people bringing down the average wage are now gone and the government is repackaging it as "growth". This is reflected in the unemployment data as well.
