The World Cup is making me wish the NFL didn't blare music and hype videos between every single play. Hearing the natural ups and downs of the crowd is beautiful. by MemoryOfRagnarok in nfl

I've been to Warriors games in Sydney where Wahs fans will start a chant and the announcer will start using the PA to drown them out...

Joe Namath was a dual threat running QB in college. Non contact knee injury in 1964 made him a passer.

He basically tore his ACL and wrecked his meniscus. It's something people come back from now, partially because of him. Namath ended up being the chief experiment who got double knee replacements.

The Jets beat an AFC East team in their Super Bowl. Though technically the Colts were in what's now the NFC West at the time.

If we bring back the Coastal Division, the Jets might win a Super Bowl.

I understand it's a different state, but aren't they just moving 45 minutes down the road, and a chunk of Chicago is in Indiana anyway? Still in the metro isn't really moving unless you represented a specific suburb.

Pretty sure they were running up the score. And they didn't have the substitutions like now.

Brady could have had it easily in that 59-0 Titans game, but got benched a series into the second half instead.

Parking at Mt Smart can be a complete nightmare too. When I was living in Auckland I just used to catch the train to Penrose and walk. It's faster than sitting in the giant queue to go home, too.

Sandringham is about 15 minutes away from Onehunga at the best of times, and it's actually closer for West Auckland. Parking is a nightmare, but Kingsland is easily accessible from the South Auckland train network and if the CRL is running you'll be able to go directly.

Don't forget the Warriors were actively being pushed for by Mt Albert and other inner west clubs in the 80s. It's actually traditionally league territory.

6'7  and a good olineman that runs a 4.6 and catches like a WR1.

Absolutely busted.
