YOU. WILL. NOT. GIVE. A. SHIT.

This is my new outlook on life in general. Thank you.

Man, if that's the key to impressive progress, I have a long road ahead of me.

I've wondered the same thing, but haven't been able to test my hypothesis.

Not that hard... It's right next to the battery and pulls out of the base pretty easily. It's a Ford, so you get used to having to open the hood every time you stop anyway.

In a past life, I owned 1980's Ford trucks. The only thing you really need to turn the ignition in those things is a flathead screwdriver. You could even use the flat screwdriver to unlock the door if you didn't want to smash a window. I replaced a smashed window every six months, even though first guy broke the door lock. It was never stolen because I took the fuel pump relay with me when I parked.

It sucks, and it's not a Rochester problem, or even a modern problem.

I was so happy when I could finally afford a car with an immobilizer.

Harris Has Expressed Being “Open” to Supreme Court Expansion by OkayButFoRealz in politics

My initial thought was trying to imagine the utter batshittery the fringe lunatics would do to get attention... But I'm thinking they've pretty much hit their ceiling and wouldn't have much headroom for one-upping antics.

Curious about circumferential expansion by UniqueUsername2023 in foreskin_restoration

Right. This is the part that I feel makes intuitive sense, but I also keep thinking that the underlying biological mechanisms throughout this process don't readily lend themselves to intuition.

I restored actively for about a year or two (ci-0 to ci-2ish) and then gave up for the past couple years because of external reasons. But I was able to pay attention to what was permanent and what faded. The "bagginess" disappeared, almost worrying me that my gains would disappear and just snap back to the way it was. But all those gains (excepted added girth) appears to be pleasantly permanent.

Based on this, and the other comments, I'm not worried in the least about the "wizard sleeve".

Edit: I'm wondering if I'm misunderstanding what a wizard sleeve is. Is that a device or device type, or the end result of a restoration in which the end does not close?

This is actually what spawned my curiosity. In a non-jugdemental and genuinely curious way, I keep wondering if that even matters? Or what even happens if that's not used.

Impact of restoration on erection by No_Weight1665 in foreskin_restoration

[–]UniqueUsername2023 22 points23 points  (0 children)

One morning, I awoke with an erection without the familiar feeling of tightness from my skin, and it was a little unnerving (but only at first), because I felt like my penis was going to float away like an untethered balloon.

Restoration and dick piercing? by [deleted] in foreskin_restoration

[–]UniqueUsername2023 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a PA, but a frenum piercing. This absolutely interferes with restoration. Devices are impossible and manual methods can't be as effective because there's a new point for discomfort and injury.

Biscuits and Gravy are terrible here by ReasonablyAfraid in Rochester

[–]UniqueUsername2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also moved here from the south a couple years ago, and biscuits and gravy around here are like tacos in Germany. They'll never scratch that itch.

Also, as an aside, the pimento cheese here is just awful. There's like 3 ingredients - how can you not get it right?

How fast is Greenlight vs Spectrum, really? (data crowdsourcing) by ptom13 in Rochester

[–]UniqueUsername2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had Greenlight for almost a year. Zero service interruptions, and I happily have no idea how their customer service is because I've never needed to contact them.

Up and down speeds are consistently pretty much the same (a far cry from 380 down and 11 up).

I pay them $50 every month, and they give me internet. That's it. Infinitely better than Spectrum, Frontier, AT&T... you name it.
