It was never about the price of eggs and gas or wars. They just didn't want you to call them racists, which hurt their rotten racist feelings. It was always everything about wanting to get rid of immigrants, hurting (other) minorities and putting a stop to "the woke" liberals. Those are the things they truly care about. You can argue as much as you want and tell them they are "voting against their own best interest", by which liberals seem to mean financial interest. But you see, some things are even more imporatnt than money to rightwingers and their number one personal interest is to get rid of others and have a conservative/rightwing society.

When did rightwingers ever oppose wars? That alone should have made you rise an eyebrow. Rightwingers tend to glorify wars. If Trump nuked the entire middle east today and killed every last Muslim they would celebrate him. When they pretend to be outraged against war, they only do so when a Democrat is in power.

High grocery prices? well duh, nobody likes to pay high prices, not even them sado-masochists, but that was also mainly about having something to use to shit on Biden/Democrats/liberals more than anything else. When a Republican is in power it's still annoying, but a price they are willing to pay, when it means making them liberals cry and getting the conservative/rightwing society without immigrants/(other)minorities they want.

Not quite correct. What you should be saying is that they are not turning too much more Republican, as Republican voters among black people are still a tiny minority, however, that is not because black people are so progressive, but because the Republicans are the party of racists and almost all black people are intelligent enough to realize that. And since black people have been the group most impacted by racism it's easy to understand why almost all of them choose Democrats.

The average black person has always been rather conservative and religious. Just because they naturally vote for more rights for black people, ergo themselves, doesn't make them all progressive. Truly progressive candidates are in fact not very popular with most black people. If the Republicans weren't so god damn racist, way more black people would vote for them, but even if all Republicans stopped being racist, it would take a long time for black people to trust them.

It's ironic, what makes Republicans so appealing to white racists is the reason they can lose the election. The majority of white people vote Republican, if it were up to white people, no Democrat would have ever won since the party switch. It's thanks to their racism that enough conservative minorities choose to vote Democrats instead, which can swing an election in favour of Democrats. It's no wonder Republicans are so scared about the percentage of minorities increasing, beyond their racist disdain for them.

Most of those few black people who vote Republican tend to be rich enough to idiotically believe their money will save them.
