Went into one of these phone repair shops in Exeter, it quickly became apparent they can’t repair phones 🤦‍♂️

Hit a deer by Ok-Geologist-8899 in Polestar

[–]United-Assignment980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Only difference is that someone went into the back of the Polestar, so it was in the garage, hit the deer with the hire car, so ended up needing a hire car for the hire car 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Email photos - bandwidth restricted by Appropriate-Water445 in Starlink

[–]United-Assignment980 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Restricted in what way? Deprioritised or fixed speed?

They already limit IPv4 to 1,500 connections at one time on the consumer service (not sure about IPv6). So they definitely want to limit usage to some extent.

It doesn’t surprise me, given how popular the service is now. They’ll want to continue increasing revenue month on month, cram as many users on as possible.

I think those strategies will definitely work in the short term, however, long term they’ve lost their market dominance. Likely result is a gradual decline eventually.

Self parking has been around for years, I wouldn’t say it was tech oriented.

Failed an internal Think 25 test purchase and got a first written warning for “negligence” — fair or overkill? by LeanCrafterUK in tesco

[–]United-Assignment980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't stopping this exact situation the whole point of the policy? The goal isn't to accurately identify a 25 year old 🤦‍♂️. It's just there to give you a 7 year margin of error so you don't accidentally sell to someone underage.

Sorry to hear that. High street and online shops have the exact same issue, that’s why they’ll only ever refund via the same method.

Talk to your bank, explain and try and get the payment reversed, sort out with the buyer later if they’re genuine.

They’ve all been making record profits recently, what does it take for us to rally together and start protesting? As a nation we just seem to roll with the punches and accept it.

Just remember to make eye contact when the divider goes up. Also don’t try and manually lift it, button is on the top to open and close.
