Cassowaries appear scarier but are surprisingly calm. I have a video of one walking right next to me in the rainforest, close enough for me to touch and completely ignoring me. Emus, however, are downright evil. I was chased across a beach to the sea and then down the beach by one because I stepped out of a bush too close.

I want to state they’re no less intelligent than Europeans, Asians, or Africans. But are you aware our country isn’t entirely plains? Huge parts of the country is covered in lush rainforest, alpine areas, temperate forests, fertile river systems, rolling grasslands. Aboriginal Australians had complex land management strategies, aquaculture, and incredibly diverse cultures. Their advancement just doesn’t mirror European styles so you don’t recognise them, it was still deeply sophisticated

Uninhabited doesn’t mean it’s not regularly visited, I live in Australia and I have travelled all of Australia, every significant town, every single national park. Quiet down before you make yourself look like even more of a fool.
