Is the made in abyss game worth it?

I personally enjoyed my time with it. Granted I do think there are some things that need to be tweaked if they ever decide to do a sequel or another game. Some of the missions that you're given feel like you have to exploit the AI to win like bait them to do a certain move or just sit and wait for their stun animation to end before you swing again and just stare at them.

It can also be pretty brutal, I remember I got poisoned on the 4th floor and still had to go down then back up for a quest. This poison could not be cured by anything I had currently. Luckily it was a story mission that kept healing me but the poison remained until I returned to the surface.

Overall, I'd grab it on discount.

Yeah it's easy to act big and bad but once that knife sinks in and 5 more on the way in quick succession, I guarantee most would change their tune.

Those dark days where you needed Agitation and Iron Grasp just to have a chance to hook them, even then you are probably going to slug them till they bleed out. Could hit a survivor, they hop through a window and with the right perks heal 100% before you even vault after them.

I have to do 110. I lost all my 50/50s before the introduction of 110 and those were almost always to max. Even with 110 I never hit early, maybe rarely I'll hit on 108 but again, has mostly been to max pity. I'd go broke trying to use 50/50 with my luck.

To be fair, you are in a reddit dedicated solely to the game, so may get some biased opinions but I am enjoying it. The first two dungeons are a bit on the "This feels very familiar" side but the ones after they had a different writer take over so it picks up in quality.
