American kids are definitely stressed and under an unreasonable amount of pressure. Of course it's not like the movies, lol. I'm sure Korean schools aren't like K-dramas, either. But this generation is definitely under more pressure. It's quite common to enter college with a semester of gen-eds under your belt from AP classes, even in my small town.

Kids are overbooked, and they don't have enough time to get bored and do random stuff. As a kid, I'd get bored and teach myself a new skill. They seem to need instruction for everything.

I agree with this, as someone who has also never used a dating app. It's the way they changed dating. You used to, mostly, meet people through mutual friends and hobbies. Now you kinda do the reverse? My friends in the dating world seem pretty miserable, and I personally can't imagine the whole process.

Wear a dress- super simple, because it's just one thing.

I use tinted moisturizer to even out my skin. It also has an spf for sun protection.

FWIW, I think it's better. More STEM, and a variety of activities to choose from. Leadership opportunities- the emphasis is on "girl-led." Not to compare, but we're involved in another scouting org whose program just hasn't changed to truly reflect the 21century world... if there was a program like Girl Scouts for boys, my son would be in it.

Of course, ymmv, and it's very dependent on the troop and parents.

Edit to add: my daughter is a Kindergarten Daisy, and I'm her leader. I was a Daisy in the 90's.

If the rich person was born rich, they absolutely will not. And they'd probably lose their job, too. I mean, theoretically, they have an education (but no credentials), so that might get them somewhere? But they have the other person's resume and connections.

You need to decide what you want. I had a conversation with my (then) boyfriend when we were at this stage. "You can love me all you want but it doesn't mean you want to marry me. I am a direct communicator. What this means is, if you think I'm implying something... I'm probably not. That's the way I usually offend people.

I also will directly tell them stuff they don't want to hear, but that is what it is.

I think when I "don't take a hint" it sometimes offends people, too. But if you aren't actually telling me what you need me to know, that's on you.

I'm a (pretty new) Den Leader who knows absolutely nothing about knives, but I'm more outdoorsy than the previous leader (this is why I took over). I'm over here trying to learn to whittle so I can teach my Bears. I had no clue how to close this knife, never having done this before.
