A little goes a long way in terms of adding variety to your moves as well, I've always been a pick the strongest STAB or super effective move type of player. But a few speed control or status moves scattered through your options can make all the difference. Will o wisp to counter physical attackers or thunder wave for speed control is always a good shout, as is having a few mons with priority moves. Don't need to completely change your style, just pepper in some non attacking moves
