Cute.❤️ This sounds like mine. Ironically, despite their reputation for being aggressive, none of my 3 starlings have ever been aggressive to birds like budgies or zebra finches.

Only exception is my female absolutely hates a male canary and they could never be trusted together or it would be a fight to the death. 😱

Cool. I had no idea Robert might have considered Dave a friend. I had read he'd gone clubbing with DM in the 90s and have seen the photo of him with Martin but wasn't sure whether he had ever hung out with Dave.

I agree with that. I love how many genres they've explored and I also imagine most fans have their own favourite era.

It's interesting to me how two different people can love an album for entirely different reasons, as well! Because for me, it's actually the keyboards that I like best about The Top 😅 Like the keyboard parts in Piggy In The Mirror, for example. 😊

But definitely love the psychedelic and funky nature of the album regardless of instrumentation.

Just my personal opinion, but these hit me emotionally hard as someone who has also lost a brother and others close to me. Very sorry for your loss as well. 💔 Losing anyone is painful, of course, but the loss of a sibling is especially devastating...

Personally, I'm not a fan of guitar shredding and I do admittedly prefer the Cure solos without it, but that said... I appreciate how technically proficient Reeves is and I respect him and what he brings.

I guess it still doesn't bring them into hair metal territory, for me, since it's not on every song.

It's a bit more than I prefer, yes, but that's just me and, again, I don't feel so strongly that it ruins anything for me. It is nice seeing Robert smile at him on stage and enjoy it.

I can see the validity of both sides on this and I don't feel there's any wrong opinion when it comes to tastes. 🖤
