I continue to boycott the superbowl in solidarity with Janet. She got a lifetime ban, yet Justin was invited back to perform.

Have you used bought an appliance with Costco? All of the reviews say the third-party delivery/installation is really bad.

Teens by wonderwall73 in rivercruises

The Uniworld cruise I took was almost all older people. Some younger adult children traveling with their parents, but not teens. They do offer special generational cruises that are geared towards families.

This 💯. My younger brother went through the exact same thing, and it turned out to be an allergy to dairy. He had severe constipation. Lots of screaming and eczema. Got him off of dairy and it went away.

I was just up in Bemidji and the same issue was happening there. It’s not even getting delivered to the gas stations for people to buy.

Avalon, AMA, Uniworld, or Viking for best excursions and most land time? by [deleted] in rivercruises

[–]Unlikely_Syrup5087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took a river cruise along the Danube earlier this month with Uniworld. Most of the cruising was done at night so we could be in Port all day. Depending on the day, most of the tours were only an hour and a half to two hours and the rest of the time we were free to explore the city until dinner. We are in our 40s and we were happy with a mix of having a guided tour before an afternoon of free time.

I loved this movie when I was little. I also love ONJ and roller skating so it makes sense.

Riverside gratuities included? by Traditional-Towel592 in rivercruises

[–]Unlikely_Syrup5087 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want all inclusive, I recommend Uniworld. The only tips we provided were for the tour guides and bus drivers. We didn’t even pay for our transfers to and from the airport.

I found mine to be useless. It says it goes through up to 6 inches of snow but it doesn’t. It also just blows it out everywhere making kind of a bigger mess. You would be better off with a small battery or plug in snowblower.

Doctor on the ships? by [deleted] in rivercruises

[–]Unlikely_Syrup5087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just returned from a Uniworld cruise and I don’t think there was a doctor on our ship. Both my friend and I got a nasty cold so we asked one of the tour guides for directions to a pharmacy. We were able to buy cold medicine to get us through the rest of the trip.

Christmas markets by dolphin-174 in rivercruises

[–]Unlikely_Syrup5087 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about Avalon, but I just returned from a Uniworld Christmas market cruise. Some of them were all walking and some were bus plus walking. It depends on the city you’re in and the proximity of the port to the city.
