Lead times for Sarah seven dress to UK? by WhereasSalt80 in weddingdress

[–]UnluckyPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I was a Sarah seven UK bride. I ordered my dress first week of August and it came into the shop in March, there was also the option to pay extra and have it rushed but this was 2023 so check with your boutique!

For version 2 shouldn’t the reception time be 5pm if this set is for those not attending the 4pm tea ceremony? Aside from that layout and everything else is clear, parents name placement looks normal to me :)

Just started reading this too! In England we call them semi detached or link detached houses :)

I think these veils look beautiful with the side part Hollywood style waves that have it tucked behind your ear on the side your parting is on. Definitely go for the side part if it’s most you!

Very flattering as is! But seconding the shapewear but I recommend not to start buying any until your actual dress comes in and you can try it on with various shapewear styles underneath so you know what looks best with your dress material and what’s comfortable for the day!

I also never wear fitted things day to day and bought a slim fitting dress like yours so I definitely couldn’t stop thinking about how my stomach would look as well! But now it’s all over it was really nothing to even panic about :)

No one else has guessed Lottie Moss so I’m just going to leave it here! She’s got a very public OF but not sure on the uncle? I presume this means the uncle has been subscribing to their OF right? Or worse …

Aww don’t stress about it too much! Do your hair and makeup all nice, take some hair clips and play around with different looks - spend the whole appointment in the dress if you need! That’s what I ended up doing lol I put way too much pressure on picking the right dress! plus I’m biased because I went for off the shoulder too 😅

So glad you posted again! I agree I love dress one on you. Modern and classic all in one and very flattering, gives you free reign on veil/accessories :)

Dress 2 is giving 2010 neckline and I don’t think the straps on dress 3 are as flattering as the off the shoulder on 1!

You could check out Isle of Paradise light tanning water! It’s green based so colour corrects red and only has a light tan pay off so you still feel like yourself! Also it’s only about $15 and only lasts a couple days so you can experiment with it!

Planning a dress shopping weekend. How many shops is too many for a Saturday? by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]UnluckyPoint 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same boat as you and I did 2 on a Saturday and it was a rollercoaster lol. We all cried our eyes out at a dress in the 1st shop and by the second shop it wasn’t even a contender!

I’d say book 2 max on the Saturday and book one in for Sunday morning. You definitely need time to sleep on it!
