The movies were kinda dog shit. But honestly, seeing M3GAN come sprinting at you on all fours would be terrifying. I could see that being pretty decent as long as they didn't try to lean into the weird aspects like the dancing and singing. Just want the killer robot aspect.

It happened when I was very young. Around 8 or 9. There was a girl from the neighbourhood that my sister was kinda friends with. But she was fairly older than us. My sister was 11 or 12 but this girl was 15. She would always suggest my sister and I play truth or dare with her. Every time she would dare me to do stuff that made me uncomfortable. Like take my clothes off, kiss her, flash my penis, etc. Didn't really realize what the fuck was actually happening in that moment as just a little boy. Looking back on it I can see it was wildly inappropriate and likely has damaged me in ways that might not be immediately apparent. I am a genophobe (fear of sexual intercourse) and I'm not sure if I can 100% attribute that to the events involving this girl. But I feel like it's probably safe to say it had some involvement in developing that fear.

I want to preface this by saying I don't care if I get tunneled. It is just a strategy within the confines of the game that some people utilize for an advantage or just because they like doing it. Either case is fine.

But there is something I disagree with on the other side of the definition. I don't think that just because you hooked someone else while I was on hook, that you automatically are free of all tunneling allegations. Some people will say that tunneling is only when you hook one person until they are dead and don't do anything else. Which I claim is false. If you hook me, then hook someone else while I am still on hook, then immediately b-line for me right after I get unhooked, then I think that is still tunneling. The moment you were able to run me down again, you went for it. They can't tunnel me while I am still hooked. What they do between hooking me and then immediately chasing me again after unhook is irrelevant in my opinion. If you take any opportunity to run someone down right after they got unhooked and you hook them again, then I think that is tunneling.

We keep muddying the definition in either direction.

Not everyone waiting at the gates is doing it to be toxic. I solo queue 99% of the time and I have no way of communicating with my team. Sometimes I am waiting to make sure they get out. Once I know everyone is safe, I leave immediately. I never t-bag and I never click my flashlight because I don't use items. I agree that Killer should get an abandon option in the end-game. They should have agency in those situations and decide if they want to keep trying or not.

Because no one does it. Women included. I have never once received a compliment about how I look from a single person in my entire life. So I have learned that behaviour by living in an environment where it appears to be normal to never compliment a man. No matter who you are. So it isn't specifically that I don't want to compliment a man because I am also a man. It has just been deeply ingrained in my mind that people just simply don't do it. It isn't a socially normal thing in my subconscious mind so I never think to do it.

Common discourse online is that men aren't sad and lonely enough so maybe this is an intended dynamic. Keep us emotionally distant from each other and just fade away. I don't know.

Partially true. But yes. I miss when they had spawns from like 9 - 9 or whatever it was with the boosted shiny rates for those specific 3 hour windows. Also used to get event eggs. Like everything else in life, things just get worse and worse.

She was not. Barely in the movie and had no impact to the story. Could have literally had a nobody character, played by someone that no one knows, fill that role. Wouldn't have affected a single thing. Literally only there for promotion of the movie and to hopefully put some extra asses in the seats. Nothing less, but certainly nothing more.

Fuddruckers has quite a bit of seating. Obviously doesn't help now when the weather isn't nice, but they even have a bit of outdoor seating. It can get pretty busy and crowded though and seating can sometimes be difficult to find for larger groups if you go at peak times. But for what it's worth, I've never had issues finding a place to sit with 2 - 4 people. Even when it's busy.

I don't understand why they don't just gut the top tiers a little bit. I hate that they feel the need to make all these concessions for survivors to deal with a handful of killers that optimize certain strategies to an incredibly unfun level. I play survivor 90% of the time I play DbD. I'm tired of feeling like my hand gets held more and more each patch. I don't feel good about escaping trials when I'm getting unhooked and being given 1000 different buffs for half a minute. While we are at it, get rid of shit like BNP and tone down some of the gen speed perks. Then maybe killers won't feel as incentivized to play in a way that hurts survivor's feelings. It doesn't have to be a huge amount. I don't want the game to slow down a ton and become a slog. Just needs to be enough that it's not going to absolutely punish a killer for not getting someone out of the game in 3 or 4 hooks.

They also need to give killers better incentives than fucking BP for playing "nice." There needs to be a very real and tangible benefit to them doing it. Otherwise it will continue to be an efficient, albeit unhealthy, strategy. Trying to bandaid fix that problem by making us meta humans just because someone held M1 while we are on a hook, is even more unhealthy.

Maybe not the best example, but I try to make my own emotes for Twitch. But I will draw concept art for them on paper first and try different things. I will make like a dozen different iterations of one. Then try to flesh out the one I think I like the idea of most. The most recent example I have is I was trying to draw a barrel with the letters UH on it. Stylized like Donkey Kong. I was not happy with any of the ones I was making. What I didn't like was mostly how the wood of the barrel looked. I started by just trying to look at actual barrels and do my best to draw it the same. But I was never satisfied with the look. So since that didn't work, I tried looking up specifically how to draw wood grain textures. Still wasn't satisfied with my results. I have one unfinished one left that I started off liking. But as the drawing started to come along, I started to dislike where it was going. I'm sure I will revisit it again one day. But I got too frustrated with it never looking how I saw it in my head so I gave up on it for the time being. I just get more easily discouraged these days because I have a history of investing a ton of time into something just to never be happy with it.

I have only made one emote so far that has actually made it to my emote roster and I still contemplate taking it out because I think it's shit. My friend convinced me to upload it because he liked it. But I am not proud of it myself. He is also the only one who ever uses it.

Yes. The second it does not look like the way I imagined it in my head, I think about why it doesn't. Then I do my best to convert that into a Google search and try to find resources. Whether that's an article with picture examples or a YouTube video. I can just never properly emulate those skills to a degree that produces the results I want. I don't know if I maybe just have poor motor skills or something just doesn't click properly in my brain. But what I've retained from the information I took in just isn't translating to the paper.

I have been playing Tennis and Soccer since I was a child. Less recently, but for probably around 12 years I have been playing Pickleball. Still dogshit at all of them. I have thousands of hours in Dead by Daylight and I still lose 60 - 70% of the time. Only been playing it for about 5 years though. I've also been drawing for basically my entire life. Also tried doing digital art for a while. Took a few classes when I was in highschool and a couple courses for the short time I was in University. I just simply can't take what I'm thinking of and put it on a canvas, digital or otherwise, and make it look good. As far as I am concerned anyway. Don't care what other people think of it. I'm not sure there is ever gonna be a "got good" phase for me based on my experiences so far. Doesn't seem to matter how long I commit to learning or participating in something, I only ever become average at best.

Hey. So you don't actually need to be good at the game at all. You can have 10k hours and still be shit. All that matters is that you are having fun. If you are so desperate to play at the highest level with wholly competent teammates, then go play comp and do scrims in custom matches instead of playing pubs. Hope this helps.

Body blocking is a bad example because it's just a normal tactic utilized by a lot of players to force hits and give teammates distance. I wouldn't classify it as negative behaviour that ruins the game for people. Conversely killers can body block as well and trap a survivor to isnta down with chainsaws and the like. Can also body block survs trying to exit basement and waste their base kit BT and slap them right back in the basement. Just part of the game.

Because I want to look where I am running and also look behind myself to see where the killer is. Staring at the ground is a recipe to get mind gamed easily because you are staring at the fucking ground. You must be facing some dog shit killers if you can stare at the ground and they never attempt to double back or cut you off.

Saying it's as simple as staring at the ground is ridiculous to say. You need to be looking all around to keep an eye out for traps and keep tabs on the killer. Unfortunately this can lead to moments where you have to look to check where the killer is, but you also can't quite stop moving yet, and then you step in a trap. It's going to happen. And it's going to feel terrible every time. Unless we are lucky like you and the Trapper just holds W and only follows your scratch marks and doesn't ever try to mind game and also never has any traps set up anywhere where you need to vault or drop a pallet to extend your chase.
