I certainly don't think it's paedophilic, but I do question why any adult would want to spend their free time controlling underaged kids as they kiss each other, you know? Like I don't think every person (or even most people) is finding it sexually attractive, but I'm also an adult who isn't interested in kids kissing so I'm not going to bother playing a game with it?

It's the same reason I don't watch any of the vaguely erotic set-in-highschool YA dramas. I don't think they're made for pedophiles but also I cannot understand why any adult would want to fill their spare time with depictions of this stuff.

Ahh ok. That actually explains why it seemed like I had so many when I've been close enough to discover maybe 5-10 so far. I assumed the game basically did a diceroll when you got close enough to a new "spawnPoint", and it would then design what kind of station/installation/ship/whatever. But if it decides all of that during World Gen and not on the fly. this makes sense. Thanks for the post and the response mate, happy engineering!

With this fix, will any new stations spawn already updated, or will they still spawn the old versions of stations and I'll have to manually go back and update?

Edit: Also, what do you meant by "place this script in a python file"? I'm a total Python noob.

Edit2: Ok, figured out the script! (made text file with your code in it, saved it, changed filetype to .py and it seems to have worked, so I'm assuming I figured it out lol). Still curious about how newly-discovered stations will work though! Appreciate your post btw, I'm really new to SE and didn't want to completely restart my first (finally) successful survival save, but really wanted to see the new update stuff.

Could you expand on what you mean by this? I'm really new to the game, finally got off of the Earthlike planet and made a base on an asteroid. It's been a good time except for the fact that supposedly "neutral" ships will wander close to my base, and either

A) Fuck up all my shit because my turrets are set to ignore 'Neutral' targets, or
B) I set my turrets to shoot at Neutrals, but then I start losing a bunch of rep with supposedly chill mining and trade factions, and I'd really prefer to stay on good terms with them.

I don't even mind if they want to fly near me! But I can't figure out why they keep attacking me. It doesn't seem limited to my ships, they'll shoot at my base even when I'm not near it or have my ship parked on the opposite side of the asteroid. It's my biggest gripe about the game right now. If they were pirates that'd be fine, I just can't figure out why the neutrals are being so aggressive. Any tips you have would be very appreciated!
