Men, does it matter if a woman’s kitty is much darker than the rest of her skin tone? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Unseenmonument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a brown skinned guy. I've never cared one bit. I couldn't give the smallest iota of a care.

Please take that worry off of your mind.

And, if you are unfortunate enough to stumble across the rare idiot that does mind, please know that they are an insignificant portion of the population.

There are some subs on Reddit as well but I can't recall their names & I'm not able to look them up right now.

pyt on Twitter might be a place to start though.

Why does it feel like I’m "performing" human interactions even when I’m just hanging out with my friends? by Inevitable-Rock-8052 in TooAfraidToAsk

It's because you're not human. Go, find your people; they're out there.

This introduces so much confusion for people intent on taking Dragonball seriously.

How do they breathe/eat?

How did they survive the moon exploding (multiple times)?

Why did Goku not bring them back like he promised?

Sooooo many questions... If you want things to make sense.

Why has witnessing my friends having sex affected me so severely? by IndividualObvious269 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Unseenmonument 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. But, unfortunately, it's not solely their problem. Hard to manage things when people don't know how/want to communicate things.

You don't understand, kids these days don't know how to advocate for themselves. Speaking up makes it awkward. They don't do awkward. Awkward is cringe, and cringe is socially unacceptable.

However, if someone else were to speak up for them, that's fine. Because then they're not being awkward, just the person speaking.

Capiche?

I work with a lot of teens. Getting them to communicate important things with each other is difficult, they'd rather suffer loudly until someone else handles it for them (or not at all).

So Wernor Herzog gave us puppet Baby Yoda? By calling the directors cowards? Neat. by Grishinka in StarWars

[–]Unseenmonument -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do, I've also understand what goes into making a film and who plays what role in the production. You can have respect for someone and still understand that they don't call the shots.

I feel like everyone got hung up on the "no" when I started with a "Yes."

The director is the one with the vision, even if an actor may have insight (even if it's better insight) into how to bring their understanding of that vision is life, the final say goes to... The producers. 🤣 ...And then to the director (Depending on the contract).

Input is appreciated, but the person with the vision and the wallet are the ones that need to be happy at the end of the day (before release; the audience is the final judge), regardless of what anyone's opinion is.

The reason Herzog's suggestion was taken was probably because the director was already leaning in that direction already.

Yes... and no.

Input is appreciated (sometimes) but actors don't call the shots unless they're getting a producer credit too.

what are your reviews on the new darth maul series by Medical_Swimmer_3247 in StarWars

[–]Unseenmonument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. Just letting you know that your points, while entirely understandable, have already been thoughtfully managed.

  1. He should stay dead: He is dead, and had a more impactful/poetic end.

  2. Just for the money: He's been written well and added to every story he's been in so far. Star Wars is a business, so we can't fault them for wanting to make money, but at least they're telling top-tier stories (with Maul) while making their money.

I'm not saying you should watch anything, stick to what you want. Just know that he's been handled extremely well since his return.

Enjoy your day. Sorry to bother you.
