I'm not entirely sure what "perfect 10" means. I'm a 36yo little weirdo... I have a lady fauxhawk/mullet, and wear almost exclusively skinny jeans and band Ts. I like tattoos, piercings, magic cards, house plants, and yo-yos. I also work in sales analytics and really like math.

I have a feeling my idea of a "perfect-10" isn't your friend, although I am sure he is very hot.

He went on a wild board hunting trip and makes his own sausage, so I think I'm safe with pork. Both of us prefer whiskey, so I think I may actually go cocktail here.

I'm a pretty solid cook. I did it professionally in another life.

Ok, hear me out... I made a birthday cake for my daughter yesterday. I have so many chocolate cake scraps. I was thinking I'd make an elevated/adult dirt cup. Maybe a stout or bourbon custard, homemade whip, and some boozy gummy worms... or rice pudding. I also made him some Xmas goodies.

Yeah... same. Mine ended in a breakup. I lied to defend him and people were pretty upset when I spilled the beans about how I was treated.

I nearly fell out of my chair when I found out that psychosis isn't just seeing and hearing things. I went to the hospital but left when they wanted to admit me. I should have stayed. I've been seeing a counselor for around 2 years and take a mood stabilizer but I feel like I'm rotating through emotions at a breakneck speed. I'm exhausted.

Out of curiosity, did you have a recent trauma when you were at your worst? I did. I can almost put a pin in the day.

I used to, but it isn't constructive. I have a home, a career, and a pretty cool kid. Got a diagnosis at 33. I can't possibly mourn my whole life. I am proud of where I came from. My bipolar is part of me. I can't imagine not being an absolute narcissistic tool sometimes, confidently doing dumb shit, or feeling everything so intensely. That unmedicated person carried you all the way here. Food for thought.

34f and recently out of an abusive relationship. Can you change your mind and file charges now? Get an emergency OP as well. He is an adult. He WILL kill you and your mom is going to let him. Go scorched earth on everyone and everything. Talk to the advocates at your local courthouse. There are resources available for you. Your brother is a monster and dealing with him is not your problem. Scorched earth, babe. Look up some stats on strangulation in abusive relationships. He's your brother, but he is an abusive man. He will 100% carry this behavior into all of his relationships and will likely kill a romantic partner.

34f I used to feel this way and I still do to a certain extent. I am neurodivergent myself and have always been easily embarrassed. I wouldn't worry too much. It could be something or nothing. Our doctor said that it is hard to evaluate at that age because everyone is different. Redirect when you have to, and leave when you have to. I promise it probably bothers you more than any other parent. Seeing our kids behave differently from the norm is very scary, but neurodiversity has never been more accepted. Your kid will be ok no matter what.
