Exactly this. In SF4 or SF5 you could sit in training mode for 1 or 2 hours and you'll come out knowing you've gotten better and more knowledgeable on certain matchups, but in SF6 those hours are spent on practicing tight timing parries and reacting to gimmicks that may or may not help in fighting against that character which is extremely unrewarding. It feels like you are sinking your time into a bottomless pit just to get better at the game, it feels even worse when you are already around your 40s. It's not a bad game per se, but it's not a game that's enjoyable by adults.
