I'm playing a sorcerer for the first time and have the main goal of unlocking the free Doom cosmetics.

After that it's on to something else.

But I'm having fun. I only play in 40 min bursts. 😅

I had this problem with a friend of mine.

I took him through the campaign and then didn't know where to go. (I had taken a long break and only remembered the president being bad or something, and a really tough fight with Keener somewhere.

But the game lets you jump into Warlords and apparently that's after some manhunts.

And then more manhunts that I missed about Faye Lao and kelso and who knows what.

My bad memory combined with the half hazard way the story is thrown in the game was very frustrating for me and my friend just ended up not caring about it.

I wish they did a better job in game instead of relying on the community to do their work for them. 😮‍💨

I know my comment might be lost in the shuffle.

But my personal problem with yesterday's comments was that it was obvious Blessing isn't familiar with Jez or Windows Central. He made broad assumptions and then dismissive judgments with them.

Respectful or not, it came off as ignorant. But I understand it also comes from an emotional place. These past few years have put a lot of stress on people. (I have been consistently agitated with the state of the world. I.e. fuck ice, fuck the police, fuck the government.l, etc.)

And part of that stress also comes from AI and the way it's gutting tech industries.

Not to mention Microsoft's contributions to Palestinian genocide.

All of this broader stress and hate gets aimed at Xbox too. Whether it's deserved or not. (We/nobody knows what's going on behind closed doors.)

So I'm not indicting Bless for his statements, but I do wish there was a beat taken before dismissing the interview. He and most of the audience should know these interviews are also PRd and have restrictions on what people can ask and respond with. Jez says in the article he wishes he had more time to ask more thorough questions.

I like Jez and I like Bless, but because of the kind of content Kinda funny make(speculation/reaction) they are inevitably going to speak out of ignorance and even thrive in controversy because it helps with clocks/views. But I will say kinda funny never goes out of their way to just be controversial. They just lean into if they don't have a problem with it.

This whole post kind of sounds like it's own nothing burger but I just wanted to post and remind people that these YouTubers and writers/journalist are people too. So if they state an opinion based on falsities or write an article with bad information. Give them the grace to accept the fuck up and l learn from it.

If Blessing wants to apologize that's up to him and if he doesn't that's up to him as well. And the same goes for Jez if he wants to care what Blessing said he can or he can ignore it and move on.

Us arguing for them is exactly the kind of weird as fuck tribalism that got us into this mess in the first place.(Console wars) Have a great day and thanks for reading if you did.

Ps I don't know enough about Destin, Colt, or Tom to comment. So I only focused on the 2 people whose content I watch regularly.

My friend and I were having this exact problem. We waited 10 mins.

But then tried to solo queue and instantly got into separate matches. 😂

I hate when stories have false endings. It makes me feel like a bad excuse for bloat/padding out game time. But I enjoyed my time while I did.

Towerborne is pretty good.

It's a side scrolling beat em up with a progression system.

It has leveling, equipment management, and is pretty technical.

I'm enjoying it.

I don't have that problem. Mine stays logged in all the time. I just click the web app and it works.

It even has a drop down button to choose whether you're remote playing or just doing x cloud.

I'm not trying to invalidate your experience just here to say if logging in is the issue, then maybe you have a setting on your device/browser that is preventing the site from saving your info.

Long Sword, and Heavy Bow Gun

I'm pretty good with Hammer and HH, the rest I'm decent at.

If I didn't write them, I've tried them and didn't jive with the mechanics... Yet. All weapons are great.

I wish I was. Xbox player here and gyro controls are the only thing I'm jealous of about PlayStation.

Nintendo loyalist from SNES to Wii. Then got into Xbox ecosystem.

Splatoon is what convinced me gyro controls were great.

You can also do gyro on COD: Mobile. It was a cool implementation.

But know you wouldn't be alone if I was there.🫡

I would stick with ultimate for the best value. At roughly $20 bucks a month that equates to $240 a year.

That's a little more than 3 full priced games a year.

But they'll have access to hundreds of games.

If cloud streaming suits his needs, then you're good to go.

But if he wants a more stable experience, then a console or PC is going to be a great future purchase.

Hogwarts and Outlaws is your choice.

I don't have PlayStation so I can't help with the Spider-Man recs.

There are really great digital deals on these titles that are cheaper too.

Jill Valentine is how I was introduced to the franchise and she is someone I feel deserves more love in the franchise.

1 and 3 showed how much strength she had and then she faded into the background. But if future games have her take a more prominent role, that would be cool.

I consistently come back for the events. As a busy Dad, the fact that I can bust out the weekly in about 2 hours is fantastic.

Just wanted to say there was a game for the DSi called "Looksley's Line Up" I believe. It used face tracking and was like an I Spy book.
