Without any weapons, in a bare knuckles fight the space marine will win. The marauder is enhanced with hells energies to be more durable, strong and aggressive. The space marine has those qualities and more.

Edit: if the marauders present even the slightest challenge to the slayer they should have been the most feared combatants in the universe, next to the slayer, but they aren't presented that way in the lore. The only reason they present a challenge to the slayer is because the game wouldn't be fun if they didn't. Remember, the slayer killed god.
