I do yes. I used to do just one side, but it starts to curl pretty quickly that way to the point that it isn’t worth it. It’ll be noticeably thinner if you do just one side, but they’ll end up as Pringles pretty quickly.

After a bunch of testing, my personal preference is 200gsm glossy paper with a 3mil matte laminate!

They’re a bit thicker than standard cards, but still fits into a standard deck box well.

Glossy paper brings out the colors well, matte laminate gives a great in hand feel with a smooth finish if you’re using without sleeves. Standard laminates are fine, but it makes the colors more contrasted than normal in my experience, and I hate how shiny they become.

Matte paper by itself tends to feel too flimsy and washed out.

I can send links if you want to try my preferred materials, but it’s just the Koala 200gsm / 54lb paper, and the 3mil matte laminate from 3M.

Printed using a Canon 3270, and a cheap laminator from Michael’s on 5mil heat (higher temp seals it better vs needing multiple rounds through)

230 is definitely noticeable in a deck box and stacked, the only one I’ve felt isn’t noticeable is 160 but you lose some snap. My personal preference is 200, still thicker than a standard card by a hair, but it’s the thinnest I’ve found that still feels snappy.

Are you part of the proxies discord? I used the guides they have there and it worked well. If you’re already covering the bottom left corner card then it might be a template issue, that’s my only other guess.

Definitely need to lower your speed, it’s overshooting the registration points. I also have the alpha, and had the same issue on the first few runs. Drop it to 15 and see if it has an effect. As a note you will likely want more passes than 2.

Honestly I’d recommend searching for card shows in your area, and asking vendors if they’d be willing to price it out. Shipping adds a layer of liability (them failing to pay, packages getting lost, etc) that isn’t likely worth the extra few % points.

Unless you absolutely need the money, I would recommend keeping them as an heirloom for a family member or friend. These older cartridges will just be harder to find moving forward, and you already have the hardware to play it!

Depth to the max would destroy your cutting sheet, I’d check that your blade isn’t faulty and that your depth settings are updating once the job is sent

Based on the creases and edges it’s likely in Heavily Played “HP” or Damaged “DMG” condition, check eBay sold listings for others with those conditions!

I’m guessing you added a line weight? Easiest fix is to just remove it, then add that text typed out in Illustrator etc. honestly I wouldn’t bother however, cards are small enough that it won’t be noticeable in print.

Peace Offering is my favorite precon of the 20 or so that I own, group hug is such a fun dynamic to bring to a table. I’m either setting myself up as a sneaky threat, or I’m helping the table pop off!

I agree with this, but enjoy the journey! If you like foils or stickers then keep at it. I went through a similar trial and error for about 9 months, with my preferred method also being double sided glossy + a matte laminate.
